Last week kicked off with 2 favorites of the Tractor Tavern crowd packing the house as Sarah Shook & The Disarmers and Small Paul rocked the Monday blues away. In what was a bittersweet night, played what could well be their last show in Seattle since announcing the ending of the band "for the foreseeable future." 

In classic Red Fang fashion, the Portland pub rockers blew the roof off of the venue with a staggering set filled with classic hits and older deep cuts, making it a superb final bow. 

Opening the show was Portland's . With both bands old and new embarking on a tour for the ages, Red Fang has passed the torch to the new guard of young rockers.

A sold-out night at the Tractor Tavern saw the 80s glam punk band, Redd Kross stunt'n on the audience with loud, rocking grooves and shrieking solos as they promoted their new self-titled album.

The night also included a solo acoustic guitar set from Melvins' drummer, Dale Crover who along with Red Kross bassist, Steve McDonald plays double duty for both bands.

The fantastic Yard Act wrapped up their west coast US tour this past weekend (they'll be back for the east coast in the fall) with a sold out show at The Crocodile, along with support from Font. The packed house was treated to a sharp, high-energy show from both bands, and a guarantee that, when Yard Act return to Seattle, they'll be playing bigger and bigger venues, as no doubt everyone who was at the Crocodile will be spreading the good word. Ballard was in for a noisy treat at the Sunset Tavern last weekend with a packed house for Powwers along with Klesa and Fine Arts. It was a night full of good energy from the very start, with the showroom filling up shortly after the first instrument began playing. The crowd stayed packed like sardines until the final song came to a close, with the positive vibes never ceasing to flourish.
