ORANGE: On 11-23-22 at approximately 11pm, Orange PD and FD responded to the 1400 block of E. Lincoln Avenue regarding a traffic accident with a person trapped. Units arrived to find a pick up truck which had slammed into several parked vehicles. The driver of the pick up truck was able to walk out and was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. Los Angeles: On 11-20-22 at approximately 2:31am, LAFD responded to a reported commercial fire on the 1400 block of S Long Beach Avenue. Units arrived to find heavy smoke and fire showing. After the fire fight, investigators located the body of a male deceased inside. One firefighter suffered burn injuries and was transported to a local hospital in fair condition. The investigation is ongoing.

WHITTIER: On 11-16-22 at approximately 6:36am, LASD recruit academy class 464 was on a morning run near the STARS center training academy. The recruits were on Mills avenue near Trumball Street being escorted by two patrol cars. A total of about 75 recruits were in formation when for unknown reasons a Honda SUV veered into oncoming lanes and drove into the formation striking several recruits before crashing into a light pole. After hitting the light pole, the car became immobilized. Deputies said that if it wasn’t for the light post, the incident would have been a lot worse. After the collision several recruits were injured with various injuries. Fellow recruits and deputies quickly began treating the injured and ran to a nearby fire station to request assistance. Paramedics and several deputies arrived on scene and began triaging. Prior to ambulance arrival, several recruits were transported to several trauma centers in patrol vehicles. LACOFD said this action may have saved lives. LACOFD fire helicopters also responded and assisted. There were 22 injuries varying from broken bones, head trauma and a loss of limb. One of the recruits was reported to be on a ventilator. Some of the injured recruits were transported to UCI trauma center in Orange. LA Sheriffs helicopters arrived at the hospital as they brought family members to be with their loved ones. The driver of the vehicle was identified as a 22 year old driver and no alcohol or drugs were suspected. The investigation continues.

SANTA ANA: On 11-16-22 at approximately 2:30pm, Santa Ana police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 100 block of south McClay street. The vehicle was occupied by three individuals. At some point during the enforcement stop, an officer involved shooting occurred. One subject was struck by gunfire. Paramedics arrived and transported the subject to a local trauma center where they were pronounced deceased. The Orange County Districts attorneys office is taking over the investigation.

ANAHEIM: On 11-07-22 at approximately 7:03am, Garden Grove police responded to a reported carjacking that had just occurred in the 11000 block of Magnolia Street. Officers began canvassing the area and were able to locate the vehicle nearby. A police pursuit was initiated after the suspect refused to pull over. Police used the pursuit intervention technique which ended the pursuit in the 800 block of Magnolia Street in Anaheim. Officers used patrol vehicles to box in the suspect to avoid him fleeing again. The suspect ignored several commands to exit the vehicle. After several attempts, officers used pepper balls to try and gain compliance. Eventually an OC Sheriffs K9 was used to take the suspect into custody. The suspect was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

CASTAIC: On 08-31-22 at approximately 12:50pm, LACOFD along with other surrounding agencies battled a brush fire along the 5 freeway near Lake Hughes Road. The fire was named the “Route Fire.” The fire spread quickly due to poor weather conditions. The fire jumped the 5 freeway and continued to burn threatening homes. The fire did burn one structure and several firefighters were sent to local hospitals for heat related issues. Firefighters battled the fire from the ground and air to try and gain control of the raging fire. Firefighters were able to make progress overnight. The fire has been mapped at 5,208 acres and 12% percent containment as of this morning. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Full video on YouTube. Link in bio.

ANAHEIM: On 08-30-22 at approximately 12:18am, Anaheim firefighters responded to the 700 block of N Valley street for reports of a structure fire. Units arrived on scene to find smoke and fire coming from a a roll up door. Units went to work and were able to contain the fire to the place of origin. No injuries were reported. WOODLAND HILLS: On 08-30-22 at approximately 12am, LAFD and LAPD responded to the 20500 block of W Victory Blvd regarding a traffic accident. Units arrived on scene and found a sedan and SUV that had crashed head on with major damage. Both drivers were trapped and had to be extricated. One driver was pronounced deceased at the scene and the second driver was transported to a local hospital where they were also pronounced deceased. The cause of the collision is under investigation. LA HABRA: On 08-28-22 at approximately 6am, La Habra police and LACOFD responded to reports of a man down in a strip mall parking lot at the intersection of La Habra Blvd and Palm. The male victim was pronounced at the scene by paramedics. La Habra police cordoned off the area and requested detectives. A local business man in the area states the victim was attacked the night before but declined treatment. La Habra police has not released any further details at this time. Full video on YouTube. BOYLE HEIGHTS: On 08-28-22 at approximately 12:45am, LAPD and LAFD responded to reports of a shooting at the Holiday Bar in the 2400 block of Whittier Blvd. Units arrived on scene to find six people shot. A suspect was taken into custody at the scene. According to preliminary details released by LAPD, the suspect was involved in a physical altercation when the suspect produced a gun. The suspect fired several shots into a crowd. All victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Full video on YouTube. Link in bio.

ANAHEIM: On 08-27-22 at approximately 3am, Anaheim fire and police responded to the 700 block of W Katella Avenue regarding a traffic collision. Units arrived to find an SUV that had struck a sedan before slamming into a palm tree. The driver of the sedan was not injured and was coopering with investigators. FULLERTON: On 08-24-22 at approximately 12am, Fullerton firefighters responded to a dumpster fire in the 1900 block of W Malvern Avenue. Units arrived to find a container with heavy fire. Firefighters were able to control the fire and no injuries were reported. Full video on YouTube. Link in bio.

MORENO VALLEY: On 08-23-22 at approximately 5:26pm, Riverside County sheriffs and fire departments responded to Ninebark Street and Cayenne Court regarding a traffic collision. Units arrived on scene to find a car that had struck a home. The vehicle was partially inside the house. Two residents were struck by the car and transported to a local hospital in unknown condition. The driver of the vehicle was taken into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence. Full video on YouTube. Link in bio.

POMONA: On 08-20-22 at approximately 12:36am, LACOFD responded to the 1900 block of Reservoir regarding a structure fire. Units arrived to find an abandoned commercial building with heavy fire and smoke showing. Firefighters took a defensive posture and were able to control the fire after about 2 hours. HUNTINGTON BEACH: On 08-18-22 at approximately 12:20pm, Huntington Beach police and fire responded to the 19400 Mclaren lane regarding a report of a traffic collision involving a structure. Units arrived to find an SUV inside of a living room. The driver of the vehicle was treated at the scene. The occupant of the home were not in the immediate vicinity when the collision occurred and were unharmed. The home was red tagged due to the damage. Full video on YouTube. Link in bio.

ANAHEIM: On 08-17-22 at approximately 11:40pm, Anaheim police responded to reports of a man armed with a firearm at Manzanita park located in the 1200 block of N Riviera street. Units arrived and set up around the park to try and locate the subject in question. Officers were able to make contact with a subject matching the description with the help of their police helicopter, Angel. Officers began identifying themselves and giving commands. The subject refused to comply and began getting agitated. Officers made a plan to be able to safely detain him. The subject hit by a taser deployment which allowed officers to safely detain him. The subject was treated by paramedics and transported to a local hospital for treatment. Full video on YouTube. Link in bio.

ANAHEIM: On 08-17-22 at approximately 10:17pm, Anaheim fire and CHP responded to the eastbound 91 freeway at St College regarding a traffic collision with entrapment. Units arrived to find a pick up truck that came off the freeway and went down an embankment into a tree. The driver of the truck was trapped inside. The truck had major damage. It took firefighters a little over 30 mins to extricate the driver due to a very technical extrication. The driver was alert and talking and was eventually extricated and transported to a local hospital for treatment. Full video on YouTube. Link in bio.

FULLERTON: On 08-11-22 at approximately 6:46am, Fullerton police and fire responded to Euclid and Orangethorpe regarding a traffic accident involving a motorcycle. Units arrived to find a motorcyclist had struck a sedan at the intersection. The rider was laying in traffic lanes suffering from life threatening injuries. Paramedics treated and transported the rider to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The driver of the sedan remained at the scene and was cooperating with the investigation. Alcohol was not a factor in the collision. Preliminary information revealed, the motorcyclist was traveling southbound on Euclid and ran the red light at Orangethorpe. The sedan was making a westbound turn onto Orangethorpe when the collision occurred. The investigation is ongoing. Full video on YouTube. Link in bio.

FULLERTON: On 08-09-22 at approximately 10:18pm, Fullerton police and fire responded to Euclid and Malvern regarding a traffic accident. Units arrived to find a two vehicle collision with one vehicle on its roof. The driver and a passenger in the overturned vehicle were trapped while firefighters began extrication. Once successfully extricated, they were both transported to a local trauma center. Both were expected to survive. The driver of the Van involved was treated but declined transport. After sobriety tests, the driver of the van was not found to be under the influence. Alcohol was not a factor in the crash. Preliminary information revealed that the sedan was traveling Northbound Euclid and ran a red light. The van was traveling eastbound on Malvern on a green and collided with the other vehicle. ORANGE: On 07-09-22 at approximately 2:47am, Orange police officers were at Lincoln and Glassell on an unrelated incident when they observed a Nissan Altima traveling at a high rate of speed southbound on Glassell. Officers attempted to locate the vehicle when they came across a car fully engulfed by fire that had crashed on Glassell just north of Taft. Officers determined the vehicle they were trying to catch up to was the vehicle involved in the crash. Officers found seven victims who had been ejected from the vehicle. The vehicle was occupied by two male adults, three male juveniles and two female juveniles. One female juvenile, male juvenile and male adult were pronounced deceased at the scene. One male adult, male juvenile and female juvenile were transported to the hospital in critical condition. One male juvenile was transported to the hospital with moderate injuries. The driver, an adult male who was transported to the hospital in critical condition was identified as 19 year old Azarie Fuller of Exeter, CA. Based on witness statements and evidence at the scene indicate alcohol, drugs and speed were likely a factor in the collision. A nitrous oxide tank and balloons were found at the crash scene. The investigation is ongoing at this time.

FULLERTON: On Thursday 07-07-22 at approximately 11:25pm, Fullerton PD and FD responded to a report of a stabbing at the 7/11 located in the 1600 block of N Placentia Ave. Units arrived to find a male adult who was stabbed in the neck. The victim was treated and transported by paramedics to a local hospital in serious condition but expected to survive. There is no motive or suspect description at this time. Anyone who might have seen something is asked to call the Fullerton police department.

ANAHEIM: Santa Ana police was in pursuit of an assault suspect that began in Santa Ana. The pursuit travelled onto the NB 55 freeway and then onto the WB 91. The suspect exited Glassell Ave from the 91 freeway and made a westbound turn onto Frontera street. The suspect came to a stop on Rio Vista near Frontera and was taken into custody without further incident. Full video on YouTube. Link in bio.

ANAHEIM: On 07-05-22 at approximately 7am, Anaheim police responded to a report of an unresponsive male at Ponderosa park. The park is located in the 2100 block of S Haster Avenue. Paramedics arrived and pronounced the male deceased at the scene. Officers did not see any obvious trauma to the body and requested the coroners office. A coroner investigator arrived and found trauma to the body which led them to believe the male was the victim of a homicide. A homicide investigation was launched and homicide detectives have taken over the case. There is no motive or any suspect description. The victim was identified as 42 year old Michael Anthony Garcia, a local transient in the area. Full video on YouTube. Link in bio.

FULLERTON: On 07-05-22 at approximately 11:17pm, Fullerton firefighters responded to a report of a structure fire in the 1000 block of La Mesa Place. Units arrived to find heavy smoke and fire from the garage of a large one story home. First in engine was able to secure their own water supply and began attacking the fire. A tree was on fire as well as several vehicles to the front of the garage. The truck arrived and went to the roof and began cutting holes. Heavy smoke and fire began coming out of the ventilation holes. Firefighters made an aggressive attack and were able to knock down the fire quickly. The fire is believed to have started by fireworks in the area. No injuries were reported and the house is deemed a total loss. Full video on YouTube. Link in bio.

WOODLAND HILLS: On 07-03-22 at approximately 9:10pm, LAFD responded to the 6000 block of N De Soto Avenue regarding a commercial fire. Units arrived to find a large one story commercial fire with fire through the roof. Firefighters began attacking the fire. The fire soon became a major emergency fire with about 80 firefighters battling the blaze. Firefighters were in a defensive posture and set up a surround and drown operation. FULLERTON: On 07-01-22 at approximately 2:23am, Fullerton PD and FD responded to a report of a traffic collision on Brookhurst Rd and the 91 freeway. Units arrived to find a two vehicle collision with one vehicle fully engulfed by fire. Firefighters quickly began attacking the fire and were able to extinguish the fire. The driver of the work truck was checked out by paramedics and declined transport. The driver of the sedan that was on fire was out of the car and not injured. After field sobriety tests, the female driver was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence. Full video on YouTube. Link in bio.

ORANGE: On 06-28-22 at approximately 1:43am, Orange PD and FD responded to a report of a traffic collision with an overturned vehicle on La Veta and Main. Units arrived to find a a vehicle that had struck a power pole and overturned with the driver trapped. Due to the high voltage power lines that were laying across lanes and the vehicle, Edison was requested to shut down the power and make the scene safe for firefighters and officers to approach the vehicle and begin treatment. While they awaited Edison, the driver exited the vehicle and almost came into contact with energized power lines. He was ordered to stop and sit down and eventually walk along the wall to safety. No other occupants were found inside the vehicle. The driver was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Full video on YouTube. Link in bio.
