2024 was one of the busiest years since I started this label. M&M put out four albums (plus one deluxe version), two EPs and a bunch of singles. Which one is your favourite?

As always, I appreciate your support, as I wouldn’t be able to release music without an audience and without money :) Also, special thanks to Jim aka for helping out with the label - things have gotten a bit easier with help like his around.

Back from a great show at Pitchfork London and a massive 55 live shows in 2024, Meagre Martin wrap up the year with their stunning new single, 'Frankie' – a taste of their upcoming EP 'Up To S***f' (out Feb 14th).

Five years after his legendary debut album, WORLD BRAIN has finally released the follow-up today. It’s called 'Open Source' and it’s one of the best things I’ve ever heard. Truly.

Making music and putting out releases is hard and expensive, so any support is greatly appreciated—even if it just means sending it to your friends or sharing it on social media!

with "Ville Fleurie" we are releasing the third and final single by WORLD before the release of his long awaited second album "Open Source" (out Nov 1st.) which is coming out Nov 1st on vinyl (+ 100 exclusive color vinyl via Rough Trade) and digital platforms!

"This song depicts a walk in the city. The verses describe the busy, noisy streets and the mineral aspect of the architecture, whereas the chorus introduces the delicate perfume and mysterious charm of a flower."

There is a really cute music video for it which takes us on a journey down the streets at the scale of a little grey mouse having mysterious encounters. The video is animated in stop motion through various neighborhoods and suburbs of Paris.

Today we release the third single by Casablanca (known as 1/2 of the band GURR) from her upcoming debut album 'See More Glass' (out Oct 11th). There also is a cute little music video for it filmed by Giulio Rasi.

About the song she writes:

"I built this track around the synth pattern and it just screamed to become a dance bop. The lyrics paradoxically are more about the longing for more structure and calm. A longing for structure in between life changes and projects. I think you can hear my confusion in the little screams in between verses. I was sitting at Brussels Airport writing these lyrics and working on the song on my laptop. Precovid, in between touring, and visiting a friend in Belgium. It was a constant up and down (once laughing, once crying) in my life and I really missed structure - serious business. Sometimes it's so satisfying and calming to just get life in order, work on your laptop and make some calls"

Today isn't all too bad cause here is a new Meagre Martin single for you!

If you are in Berlin, you can actually see them play at our favorite Tennis Bar tomorrow (together with Das Beat) and also at Reeperbahn Festival, POP Montreal and Pitchfork London.

Very cool.

“Never Thought" questions how well we know the people in our lives, and how our security in them can still be shaken even after years of knowing them. The chords and melodies encircle and repeat, much like the rumination of thoughts in our heads.

We’re thrilled to announce the release of WORLD BRAIN ’s long-awaited second album "Open Source" coming out on November 1st on vinyl (+ 100 exclusive color vinyl via Rough Trade ) and digital platforms!

As a preview of what's to come, we’re sharing the new single, "Minute Papillon" Sung in French by his sister Noémie, this track—whose title translates to "Take It Easy!"—is an art-pop gem inviting listeners to pause and enjoy the moment. It’s a blend of complexity and catchiness, perfect for fans of Arthur Russell or Stereolab.

The music video, filmed in the scenic French Alps near Annecy, was created in collaboration with Noémie Chantre, Lucas Chantre, and Pacôme Henry using Super 16mm film.

“I would get lost very often in having a lot of crushes. I would dream about being with a person and romanticizing the s**t out of it. Delulu-Phase is truly the best about having a crush. This can be about a person but also a new path in life that you want to take."

Known as half of Berlin-based indie duo "Gurr", Andreya Casablanca's solo project proves that she doesn't shy away to experiment with genres outside of her comfort zone. Her own songs mash up the classic Garage Rock-based guitar sound with Linn Drum sounds, a little bit of 2000s MTV dance music and poppy vocal lines. Breaking out of the classic indie arrangement and dipping into poppier realms, her new music endeavors inevitably still vibe in a Lo-Fi and explosive manner.

It is the first song from her debut album "See More Glass" which will be released on October 11th on Mansions and Millions. The song also comes with a music video by the renowned German music video director Constantin Timm.

Beyond excited to share the first new music by WORLD BRAIN since 2021's 'Always on the line'.

"Open" offers a contemplative reflection on the passage of time, the acceptance of change, and the importance of living in the present. He describes the track as a personal memo to embrace what’s right in front of him.

There also is a nice little music video for it, which he made himself!
