I'm proud to continue to be the video director for Real Talk, a BC-based non-profit that provides free and accessible s*xual health education for people living with cognitive and development disabilities.

I love being a part of the amazing work that Real Talk does in the community.

We just finished our 8th season of educational videos and are currently working on season 9. Season 8 was all about identities and orientations.

I identify as a pans*xual person, so I thought I'd share our "bis*xual/pans*xual panel" video. (please note there are candid conversations about s*x in this video)

In this video, two people talk about what being bis*xual and pans*xual means to them.

I'm putting the finishing touches on this full length wedding edit from September. I'm so excited to share this video with the happy couple soon! 🌸💐

Although I mainly film corporate videos, I take on a limited number of wedding videos per year. It's refreshing to share in a couple's special day, and humbling to be a part of making a video that they can cherish for years to come.

I'm happy to share that a new series of videos in collaboration with Real Talk is now available to view on their website www.real-talk.org.

Real Talk is a s*xual health initiative aimed at people living with cognitive disabilities. They work to affirm that all people have s*xuality; facilitate conversations about dating, love, relationships, and s*x; and celebrate the s*xuality of adults with cognitive disabilities.

They're hosting a Video Release & 5-Year Anniversary Party on August 11. Attendance is free. Check out their website for more info! Hope to see you there.

It's Vancouver Pride Week 🏳️‍🌈

Pride means something different to everyone. It is a celebration but also a protest. To march in a pride parade or celebrate pride is a demand for visibility and equal rights. For me, it's also a time to get to know myself better as a pans*xual person exploring new ways to love.

I'm excited to celebrate this weekend with my fellows 2SLGBTQIA+ souls.

I worked with realtor Natalie Finkle to make a 15 second video. It's running before shows screened at the Rio Theatre in Vancouver, BC.

It was a great experience for me, and I was really impressed by what Natalie's clients had to say about working with her. I'd highly recommend her to anyone looking for a realtor—she's professional, extremely knowledgeable, and a good person!

Some frames from my video with GT Race Experience. I worked with GT Race to make a corporate event video and am now working on an instructional video about what to expect when you come to the track.

GT Race provides experiences for anyone who's wanted to drive (or ride passenger in) a pro race car, with the support of a professional driver. They even offered me a passenger ride after the shoot 😲 More on that soon.

♦️ Because of inflation and rising prices I've decided to make some changes to my pricing. I tried to keep these increases as small as possible, and they won't effect any projects currently in motion. You can reference the Services section of my website for more info on pricing.

♦️ Last month I joined the CAPS (Canadian Association of Professional Speakers) as a supplier member. I am so excited to work with them, and will be developing some packages specifically for professional speakers in the coming months! Stay tuned. Also, I had this photo taken at their last event 📸

I'm in the process of editing two more hip hop dance lesson videos. What makes these videos different is that they are adaptive, meaning they consider how to teach the dance moves to beginner dancers of all abilities and body types. Dance is for everyone.

I want to give you a sneak peak of how I edit your videos! If you're not sure what colour grading is, color grading is the process of creating a unique look for your video, adding contrast, saturation, or unique colour casts. I shoot in a flat color space (the dull looking before image here) so I have more creative control over the look of your videos. Check out this before and after from a recent shoot I did with Finkle Home Sales.

I've had a great time shooting dance competitions and recitals with again this season. Here's a shot of the feed we capture from the camera into OBS software. Reminds me of when I used to be on the other side of the camera as a dancer/performer. 💃🕺👯‍♀️
