I few weeks ago I got a curling iron burn. Since then I’ve been on hunt for a way to curl my hair without heat. I found this, I’m in love.
This came from Amazon today,I’m so excited.
This is not a normal Mindy post for Starbucks order post. No. This has a story behind it. In fact, my entire morning has a story behind it. Which I will tell. In the upcoming post later today.
I went to run errands with my dad something we never do and should do more of. The last thing was a stop at Starbucks for the obligatory coffee and through the drive-through window at the exact same time. We both said my name Mindy and it came out on their end as “Sydney” Lol funny thing is, I like that it has now entered my brain as another nickname I will go by.
To make the situation, even funnier, I put the drink in my dad’s centre consul while we were driving back to my place. And completely forgot it there leaving the car. Remembering once I got in the elevator and two floors off the ground, I immediately pressed ground, and prayed for him not to leave. I got to the ground floor to see his car still sitting there. I’ve never been so happy in my life. I’ve also probably never wheeled so quickly in the snow. He looked up and saw me saying “I was just about to text you your coffee. Then I looked up and saw you there. I thought that woman must really want her coffee.” he said laughing as he brought it in for me and watched me go into the elevator before he left. I need to spend more time with my dad.

Day 362~ish December 31, I got messed up in the counting somewhere, but there definitely are 365 pictures up from this past year of 2023 once five figure out the mass in 2024. I will definitely be calling out the throwback photos at different points next year.
it seems only right to end the year with a picture of my one and only Mr Jackson as he sleeps through the new year.
I will continue to post in the new year. It may not be every day. It may be a few times a day. I am definitely not going anywhere, though I may take a day or two or three off every once in a while.

Day 361~ish December 30,
I woke up like this.
The independence a properly fitting properly adjusted showers hair with the right adaptations gives. Is a life changer, and truly allows me to do whatever I want whenever I want in life. Not only makes things easier, but allows me to enjoy being in the water in a way I haven’t in almost 10 years.
Day 360~ish December 29,
I was going through my stationary and other crafting papers today to sort them into their own file folder, and I found this.
It’s a card made for me by a friend of mine, I don’t know why we didn’t keep in touch we really should have.
She was congratulating me on getting into university. The things you find when you take the time to look.
Day 356~ish December 25, are these pretty I think they are so gorgeous I brought them to work, and they are going to last forever.
I always post pictures of Jackson very few of Persia so today she was very playful and so cute and I will say for the time the page is part of her build, and we do not body shame in this house.

Day 354~ish December 23, I use Instacart and it’s no secret. This order though was interesting. I had asked and put in my cart a totally different hook of a totally different brand. This is what I got instead.
But that is not even half of how the order went bad; I got a cat toy, with no toy; fake flowers in which the stem and head came apart in the begging process, or in the cart and they did not care, and the wrong size of cleaning detergent.
I am getting money back but this Instacart experience was stressful to say the least.
Day 353: ish~ December 22, this seems to be one of Jackson’s favourite spots lately and I don’t blame him.
Day 352 ish: December 21, I got some groceries and they were delivered in this box. Apparently, I don’t have to get either a Christmas present because they love this thing. Although one at a time, not both at the same time, never both at the same time.
Day 351: ish ~ December 20, this picture is really bad and you may not be able to see it but they poured the black concrete today. I don’t know if they’re going to pour yet another layer of it but that means there’s only a few more steps left to this whole balcony construction process. so excited, starting to plan layouts. Can’t wait to be out there in the summer.
Day 350: ish ~ December 19, I got these today and I think I have found my new favourite candy hands-down. I can’t tell you why or how or what puts them over everything else but they are so good.
Day 349 ish~ December 18, I was looking for something and found this instead. Spent the next 15 minutes detangling it really wasn’t that hard.
Day 348 ish ~ December 17, I met this one today. Hello Peanut. She ran around for three hours and is finally sleeping.
Day 3:47: ish if this does not signify the end of girls night, I don’t know what does.
Day 346: ish~ December 15, When you call the pharmacy at the very last minute and they say they can try to get your meds on the last delivery and then the last delivery is late so you get your meds actually on time after having forgotten all day to order them.
Day 345: ish~ December 14, I went to Starbucks and I didn’t know they were having a 50% off sale today. I did know it was double stars day. And then I saw this, so Starbucks made me do it.! Now I have added one more mug to my mug collection. Which technically doesn’t fit on the rack now, but my defence, The Hulk mug is very hard to drink out of my white mug needs to be repainted or something it’s getting rather banged up, so this one can be used and it’s pretty. It’s also 14 ounces so it’s not small by any means.
Day 344: Ish~ December 13, this is Jackson’s Christmas photo for the year. I think it depict him very well and his attitude towards 2023. Hopefully we will all have more energy in 2024.

Day 340 ish~ December 9, I have had this for years and finally got the chance to share this with you. It has saved my life multiple times, and it can be used with a walker or any other mobility aid as well. In the video, I am using one finger, but you can use your entire hand in the loop. It doesn’t matter as long as you stay upright, you beverage will not spill. It also works for small bowls anything you can fit on the magic surface should be OK. I have only used it for small bowls and large coffee cups though. I am not sponsored for this video. I have use this for years and bought it with my own money.
