BONY FLY music, infos and bookings. Bony Fly is a DJ and producer from Geneva, Switzerland. He launched his second imprint Dimelow in 2019.

He is known for bridging the gap between Caribbean and Latinx urban music in his productions and sets, connecting mainly reggaetón and dancehall by broadening them with various other genres rooted in the soundsystem culture. He started out in 2011, when he set up a studio to record bands, musicians and vocalists to create his own projects. In 2015, he launched a label, Sparring Partners, focusing

on dub music. It reflects his vision of contemporary street music and the notion of inclusivity specifically in reggaeton and dancehall.

Last weekend we celebrated the 5 years of the dancehall fusion events with a 3 days festival. I got to meet a producer and dj that i admire alot and who is the pioneer of reggaetón. I spent almost 13hrs with Playero and he really wanted to go to the studio with me 😰 we listened to some tunes and he gave me really positive feedback, asking for stems y todo. Watch out for a potential collab coming up soon 👀 Feel so happy about this connect with a great person, new friend and incredibly fwd-thinking and creative producer. Gracias por la inspiración tío 💕

With this mix, I tried to conciliate the contemporary Caribbean and Latinx music with more leftfield productions and dubplates. In this journey, you will navigate through different eras and genres, while sticking to a quite precise (and vague at the same time) storyline: soundsystem-oriented music. Get ready for a special reggaeton/dancehall/dembow/dub-infused set, that took place live at the 2021 edition of Dekmantel Selectors.
