This single got air play on major radio stations including BBC on Louise Elliot and Jamie Owen's Morning Show and radios all over the world. Every Time I See You (Eurovision Song)
Since Krystal and Mircea's success after Eurovision they have both been in the Press limelight and have gained the British and Romanian public sympathy and public have complained to TVR while Krystal and Mircea were still in Romania (including country's such as... Germany, Poland, Italy, Spain, Portugal and UK) for why they hadn't made it to the Finals. Eurovision Song background:
The creative processes that lead to their song “Every Time I See You” are very unique. The song was co-written by three songwriters who live in different European countries and have never met before. To top that off, the music and vocal recordings took place in various studios all across Europe. The song originated from a lyric that Paul Brookes from Manchester/U.K. posted in Songwriter101.com, a creative internet forum for collaborating songwriters. Robert Baitinger, a songwriter from Germany, found the lyrics there, composed a musical track and together with Brookes they both added a consistent rhyme scheme and modified the lines of the song to fit the music. At that time Baitinger was also working on a different song together with the Romanian singer/songwriter Mircea Cioclei and he shared the unfinished demo of “Every Time I See You” with him. Cioclei and Baitinger also met each other at the Songwriter101 website. Cioclei instantly fell in love with the song. It was Cioclei’s idea to enter the song in the ESC competition together with Krystal Mills from Wales and he appropriately rearranged and rewrote parts of the song. The song needed a first-class music production to be able to compete in the Romanian pre-selection, therefore Cioclei turned to Bastian Knochel, an audio engineer, music producer and excellent keyboarder from southern Germany who had worked together with Baitinger on various occasions in the past. Knochel recorded all the instruments in his home studio. Mills and Cioclei recorded their vocal parts simultaneously in studios in Wales and Braila, Romania. Knochel mixed the lead vocals of the two artists together with background vocals that Baitinger recorded with the studio singers Chantal Schramm and Alina Potthoff in his own home studio. The stunning results are a very emotional piano-centric ballad with two amazing vocalists backed up by a symphonic orchestra and a choir. Due to the pan European collaboration of songwriters, musicians and vocalists this song should gain acceptance by listeners from all across Europe. The song is about a couple that recently went their separate ways for no apparent reason. Now that they are apart they notice how strong their love for each other actually is. The song leaves some loose ends as to whether they will make up again or remain separate.
''Every Time I See You'' is a beautiful piano-centric ballad with orchestra, written by Romania’s Mircea Cioclei in collaboration with two talented songwriters from Germany and UK, Robert Baitinger and Paul Brookes, produced by Bastian Knochel of Logischdenker Records based in Germany. In the beginning the song was prepared for a solo representation but later the team decided to make it into a duet and approached the young and very talented Welsh singer Krystal Mills from the UK. From that point the song turned into a European project with a strong, ambitious and experienced team working together and combining their knowledge, skills and creativity. They are hoping UK and Germany will back them if they reach the finals as those countries will not be able to vote for their own country representatives, should they break through the Romanian pre-selection Eurovision Song Contest 2014 and successfully represent Romania with the song "Every Time I See You" in Copenhagen May 2014.”
