XFile Records is comprised of determined and hardworking individuals with degrees specifically involved in the music industry. The founder, Brad Averna, was able to see an opportunity for artists to expand in the world of music in a way no other record label could offer.
Being a musician himself, he knows the passion and dedication necessary for any artist(s) trying to get their music heard. Many artists and groups are not advised properly and tend to make wrong decisions based on lack of industry knowledge. Averna has created the fairest system that will allow up-and-coming artists to achieve their ultimate goals with the guidance of XFile Records’ industry specialists. With a team of college educated music business professionals, studio engineers, marketing experts, but most importantly, musicians, XFile Records stands confidently while it paves its way to be one of the most ground breaking record labels of 2017. What Makes Us Different? Unlike most record labels, we do not have any binding contracts that force the artist into unnecessary agreements. The term, royalty percentages, advances, recoupment, and ownership of masters are a few examples of conditions that are usually negotiated between the artist and the record label. However, at XFile Records, we do not put these burdens on the artist. You keep the rights to your masters and will receive all royalties/monies made payable to you. Our services are set as flat fees where the artists can get what they want and move on. We also allow our clients to automatically become publically affiliated with our record label once they have paid for a service.
