Develop the Mind of the Spirit

As a young Christian I was always trying to figure out the “why” behind everything and planning excessively for what was ahead. But one day God required me to give it up. He showed me that reasoning is the opposite of trust.
The Bible tells us that the mind of the flesh is sense and reason without the Holy Spirit. It is being hostile to God and refusing to submit to His ways. But the mind of the Spirit is life and soul peace.
If you want to be free of trying to figure everything out, you can develop the mind of the Spirit by constantly renewing your mind with the Word. Little by little, the Word will wash away the wrong thinking and replace it with truth...follow that truth instead of your own ability to reason things out and you’ll have new life and peace.
Prayer of the Day:
Father, help me to only trust You and never my own reasoning–as difficult as that sometimes is. Please renew my mind with Your Word and bring life and peace to my life, amen

It’s God’s will for us to grow up and mature spiritually. It’s God’s will for us to have good relationships. It’s God’s will for us to have good lives.
If you’ve had a negative past, it’s because the enemy interfered and got in. No matter what you went through or what you might be going through right now, you can be positive about your future. Think about it positively; talk about it positively.
It’s a bad attitude to say, “I guess I’ll just have more of what I’ve always had.” I encourage you to have a positive vision for your future. God says people without vision perish (see Proverbs 29:18). No matter what has happened in the past, no matter what is going on right now, you can believe something great will happen in your future.
Prayer of the Day:
Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus and ask that you help me be more positive, and not waste time looking back to the past. Lead me and guide me toward the positive future You have planned for me, amen.

Trials “try” us and tests “test” us.
Most of the time, the purpose of them is to show us how who we really are, to reveal character in us.
Test are good for us because they affirm strengths and reveal weaknesses.
Don’t be afraid to face your weaknesses.

When I had one of the greatest breakings of my life few years ago, I received this revelation straight from the LORD.
And now, I am hearing this again as I go through another turning point of my life. But my soul is resting in the assurance that He's got the steering wheel and He is in control. I am secured that if He did it before, He'll do it again. 🧡
Loved one, I know that the road you are taking right now is really bumpy. There are a lot of shifts and turns which makes your soul, spirit and even your physical body tired and dizzy.
Beloved, that ride might be so tiring, uncomfortable, and sometimes it becomes so scary for you to continue holding on, but let me encourage you today to keep going no matter how scary, bumpy or tiring that ride may be.
Keep trusting your Personal Driver and Saviour.
He might be quiet during the ride but that's because He wants you to focus — not on the rocky road, but on your promised land ahead.
When the ride gets tougher, that only means you're ALMOST THERE cause remember, the enemy fights the hardest when you're about to win. 🙌
So please don't give up the fight.
If the devil isn't giving up on you, so must you on yourself!
Lean on to God's promises and trust in His provisions.
You're on your way to breakthrough! 🔥
So instead of mourning and drowning yourself in despair, why don't you celebrate in advance and confuse the enemy why? 😉

Heaven: The Hope of Every Believer

Heaven, the eternal home of the believer in Jesus Christ, is described in the Bible as not only totally peaceful but also stunningly beautiful (see Revelation 21 and 22). Having faith that this is our destiny delivers us from the fear of death. Death is not an unknown nothingness but a graduation into better things than what we have experienced on earth.
As Christians, we can truthfully say, “I will live in heaven forever!” Your address will change someday from earth to heaven, but you will never really die. What a joy to know that we have the hope of a beautiful, peaceful place where there will be no more tears, pain, or dying, and we will live in the actual Presence of God.
Prayer of the Day: Lord, I come to You today and ask that You strengthen my faith in the promise of heaven, removing any lingering fear, and filling me with the everlasting hope of spending eternity in Your glorious presence, amen.

If you feel like giving up, read this:
1. This is a Phase.
Tough times are just a phase. They don't last forever. Life is a cycle of highs and lows. Remember, this too shall pass. You're in the middle of the storm now, but clear skies are ahead. Hold on.
2. You Are Stronger Than You Think.
Never underestimate your resilience.
- You've survived 100% of your bad days.
- Inside you, there is an inner strength.
- Your potential is greater than any problem.
Remember, you're stronger and more capable than you believe.
3. Small Steps Count.
Progress isn't always a leap forward. Sometimes it's tiny, almost imperceptible steps. Each step, no matter how small, brings you closer to your goal. Celebrate every bit of progress. Slow and steady can still win the race. Keep moving forward.
4. Remember Your 'Why'.
Think back to the reasons why you started. Reconnect with your motivation and your goals.
5. Failure is a Stepping Stone.
It's okay to fall but it's important to rise again. Every setback brings learning opportunities. Remember, every great success story involves overcoming obstacles. Keep going. Your story is being written.
6. Practice Self-Care.
Self-care is essential, especially during tough times.
- Eat nutritious food
- Exercise regularly
- Get adequate sleep
- Connect with loved ones
- Engage in activities that bring joy.
It’s not selfish, it's survival. Your well-being matters.
7. It's Okay to Ask for Help.
Remember, you're not alone in this journey.
- Reach out to friends, family, or professionals
- Open up about your struggles
- Seek support when you need it
Strength isn't just about enduring in silence. It's also knowing when to ask for help.
To my friends and readers, Fight for yourself. No matter how difficult it becomes, never let yourself give in. After some time, your spark will eventually return. You will come out happier, healthier, and wiser. We are in this together.

Our Helper
Quite often, we feel that we are alone and have no one to help us, but Jesus promised that the Holy Spirit would be with us always and that He is our “Helper.” One of the most powerful prayers we can pray is, “Help me, Lord,” and we should pray it several times every day. It is a simple three-word prayer that declares that we are depending on the Holy Spirit and we know we cannot do anything without Him.
Don’t struggle along in life, trying to do things by yourself, when you have the greatest Helper in the world available to you. James said that …you do not have, because you do not ask (James 4:2 AMPC), so I encourage you to start asking more often and expect to get more help than ever before.

Step by Step Obedience
Abraham, later known as Abram, was a man of great faith. Having faith comes more easily to some people than to others simply because of the way they are wired, but I don’t think anyone is born with the tremendous faith that Abraham had. It has to be developed over time, as we see God prove Himself faithful in one situation after another. God gives all of us a measure of faith, but our faith grows, like Abraham’s, over time as we learn to trust God to lead us one step at a time. We do have to face difficult and challenging situations, but they become the tools that God uses to stretch our faith to new levels.
Abraham’s first step of faith was to leave his home and his family, not knowing where to go next. All God said was that He would show him the right place, and Abraham trusted that and obeyed. He had to do the first thing God told him before God would tell him anything else.
By the time Abraham’s faith was truly tested, he had developed such complete trust in God that he was willing to sacrifice his own son—the son God had promised him with his wife, Sarah, and the son he had believed God for and had waited for, for a very long time. When God asked him to sacrifice his son, he obeyed. But before he could do it, God spoke to him and told him not to. He even provided a ram in a nearby thicket so that Abraham would have an animal to sacrifice instead (see Genesis 22:1–14). We have to wonder if Abraham would have had the faith to sacrifice his son had he not seen God prove Himself faithful on each step of his journey to that point.
Abraham’s story is very dramatic when it gets to the part about sacrificing his son. I haven’t heard of another story like that in history, but it is a great example for us as we walk the journey of healing in our soul. We would like for God to heal us instantly, but that’s not the way it works. God strengthens and restores us little by little, one step at a time, and each time He does, our trust in Him grows.
As God heals our souls, there are times He is gracious enough to take us forward in a seemingly miraculous way, but there comes a time for everyone when He requires us to walk through a difficulty because that is the only way we will gain strength. There are many people who simply refuse to take the first step until they see every step along the way. But the best way to follow God as He heals your soul is to take each step He leads you to take, when He leads you to take it, without questioning or hesitating. Once you take one step and see the faithfulness of God, you will have more faith for the second step than you had for the first. As the cycle continues, you will find yourself making great progress on your journey of healing.
Prayer of the Day:
Father, Your Word is full of truth, and examples of the wonderful faith others have had in You. Help me as I build my faith and put all my trust in You! In Jesus’ name, amen.

Exercise Self-Control
Jesus not only commanded you to not allow your heart to be troubled and afraid, He also said, ...Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled] (John 14:27 AMPC).
You can choose not to get upset. If you are around someone whose good opinion you value, it's amazing how much easier it can be to control yourself. It's much harder to stay calm when you're around people you don't have a need to impress.
When you start to get upset, remember only one thing will put an end to it. You have to stop it. You have to get hold of yourself and say, "No, I'm not getting upset." You need to remember that everywhere you go, you are a witness for the One you serve and love.
Prayer of the Day:
Lord, thank You for loving me and setting me free from fear. Because of You, I no longer need to get upset. Help me to stay calm. In Jesus’ name, amen.
