Many of my clients are shocked when I tell them I really don’t advocate meal prep. I mean, I might cook some proteins to have on hand for the week (taco meat and shredded chicken are some faves!) but other than that I DO NOT MEAL PREP.
Why? I don’t want to. And it’s not a necessity to reach your goals.

👉🏽Less recipes, more whole food ingredients
👉🏽Carefully choose packaged foods.
Example: this NO COOK, NO PREP involved lunch has 35g protein, 30g carbs, 14g fat, and includes a protein, carb, healthy fat, veggie, fruit, and even clean dessert🍫😉
You can swap out your favorites for variety— I’ll do low sodium deli meat or chomps sticks in place of the tuna, a banana and mini bell peppers, pretzel chips, hummus or peanut butter, the options are endless!

My oh my!!!!! How quickly we keep ourselves from what GOD WILL USE, due to fear or silly insecurities!
here’s what I KNEW:
🫠 I felt unfulfilled even after pouring into students all day, because I was coming home EMPTY to my own family.
🫠 I was limited to a small % raise each year, no matter how much of my personal time, weekends, and own money I was putting into lesson prep and furnishing my classroom.
🫠 I felt guilty for being less passionate about my career choice than my peers around me did.
HERE’S WHAT HAPPENED:
👩🏼💻 I watched a total stranger get results in her at-home fitness programs while helping others... she worked her own hours from her phone/computer when it worked around her family and schedule.
She invited me a few times over the course of a few months, I was hesitant but felt like it was an opportunity for me to do something DIFFERENT and really step out in faith - I said, why the heck not?
HERE’S WHAT I KNOW NOW:
💖 I intentionally surround myself with POSITIVE, HARDWORKING , INSPIRING + RESILIENT women who want to grow businesses together!
💖 My job everyday is to FIRST work on my HEALTH.. physically, mentally, emotionally & FINANCIALLY EVERYDAY.
💖 I am able to work a FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE so I can LIVE my life and be present for my family, NOT work my life away!
💖 I am fulfilled and living a life of PURPOSE!
💖 I’ve been able to contribute a SIGNIFICANT INCOME for my family, more than I would’ve ever been able to in my teaching career! And I don’t miss a MOMENT with my kids and husband!
💖 I have walked through HARD STUFF & realized that the tools, resources, & community coaching has given me have allowed me to OVERCOME BATTLES. I am able to pay that forward to those who link arms with me!

I just love when people tell me they could never do what I do because they are introverted or quiet or don’t have a social circle... girl, SAMESIES, so that excuse doesn’t fly around here 🤣
It’s actually the most FREEING THING for us slightly awkward, socially anxious introverts to build a business and connect with people in a real way on social media because we don’t have to ACTUALLY GO ANYWHERE + we get to choose who we surround ourselves with!!💃🏼

How did I go from HATING EXERCISE and using it as a form of punishment and to numb me from life’s problems…. To using it to steward my body and build it STRONG for what matters? (to me it’s motherhood, family, my career, living out God’s purpose for my life) ⬇️
It wasn’t an overnight process.
Here’s the gut check.
I wasn’t proud of the woman that I was. I was living a life I wasn’t proud of. Food owned me. Fear owned me.
I decided to start showing up as the woman I would be proud of. The woman that followed through on her commitments. The woman who could show up fearlessly. The woman who could be so committed that she inspired other women to take action for themselves
I started acting a little more like HER everyday… and pretty soon, my habits and my mindset were unrecognizable.😍
I BECAME WHO I WANTED TO BE.

Over 7 years ago, I decided to start this business as a side gig while I was a full time teacher and part time personal trainer.
We were struggling financially (and my husband and I had no extra time to give to more part time jobs which we already had taken on) and I definitely didn’t think I had time to add something else to my plate, but that was the exact reason I gave this a shot.
I didn’t have to choose being a coach or teaching.
It was BOTH. Or BOAF😂
I was able to do BOTH until I decided to make this my full time career. I always say I’m still teaching, I’m just using my God given passion for educating on a different platform 🥰 From my phone or iPad, and always around my family’s schedule.

Any time I’m snuggled up in bed, always with a child or two close by, all I want to do is rest. As a hardcore DOER who thrives on staying BUSY, this space reminds me it’s ok to rest.
REST IS A WEAPON.
It’s a gift from God himself to remind us we don’t have to strive for anything.
Man was created on the 6th day of creation.
And what was his first job? (7th day) To rest.
God says, “I’ve done all the work. On this day you are to rest.”
That’s what this space reminds me of. And I’m grateful!!

Flashback 6.5 years ago… as a stressed out/exhausted teacher and new mom, I was THRILLED to say yes to an outlet that let me prioritize & simplify my health/fitness, while helping some other mamas in similar circumstances.

A few months into my Coach Business:
— I'd lost 10 pounds & gotten hours of my life back from the time I was no longer investing at the gym
— I’d gotten into the best shape of my life after 21 days of a home fitness program & superfood shake😱
— I was paying down debt and giving my family fun, extra wiggle-room with date nights, family outings, and extra shopping money!
— then I got pregnant again with our 2nd child and had a fitness & nutrition routine I could continue to feel amazing with!
— my office was my dining room table, scattered with laundry and toys
— my 3 year old attached to my hip, and a newborn attached to other places🤣

Month 12 — I matched my full time teaching salary with this business I worked in the cracks of my day.
Month 24 — I retired and had doubled my income.
CURRENTLY — I can’t even believe the financial provision and blessings God’s given us through my decision to become a Coach. This business has become my legacy. For my family. For the women who have joined me. For their families. 💞
