Work twice as hard on heart change as you do on HABIT CHANGE.

I tried changing my habits. I tried the extreme measures. I tried “doing better”. But I was MISSING the heart change.

Heart change happens with JESUS.

Through prayer, surrender, reading His word, obedience. Letting Jesus do the “dirty work” and expose any lies, excuses, and prisons we’ve been prone to.

I share Jesus because He saved me. He chose me. He loved me. At my filthiest and most broken. He’ll do the same for you!

I share fitness because it’s the ministry He chose for me. He used it first in my life and showed me it could be a way to draw others to Him - as they learn what a GIFT their body is as the temple of the living God! Fitness can be this for you too!

I share nutrition because I’ve been at the bottom. Eating disorders, abusing my body with diet pills, undereating to the point of hair loss, thyroid disease that has improved through NUTRITION. And because now, as a 40 year old busy mom who’s gotten in her best shape - I FEEL MY ABSOLUTE BEST and have maintained a healthy lifestyle for over a decade! And you can too!

You’ve been lied to.
You do NOT have to meal prep to achieve your health and fitness goals.

Why not STEAL MY MEAL?😎

We’ll call this an ADULT LUNCHABLE - but reality is my kids eat a version of this too!!

Many of my clients are shocked when I tell them I really don’t advocate meal prep. I mean, I might cook some proteins to have on hand for the week (taco meat and shredded chicken are some faves!) but other than that I DO NOT MEAL PREP.

Why? I don’t want to. And it’s not a necessity to reach your goals.

👉🏽Keep it simple.
👉🏽Less recipes, more whole food ingredients
👉🏽Carefully choose packaged foods.

Example: this NO COOK, NO PREP involved lunch has 35g protein, 30g carbs, 14g fat, and includes a protein, carb, healthy fat, veggie, fruit, and even clean dessert🍫😉

You can swap out your favorites for variety— I’ll do low sodium deli meat or chomps sticks in place of the tuna, a banana and mini bell peppers, pretzel chips, hummus or peanut butter, the options are endless!

This is how I keep life easy as a busy mom on a lifelong fitness journey! I plan out our dinners first, use leftovers as lunches, & use my superfood shake for dessert or breakfast! I can’t wait to dig in deeper with those starting my nutrition prep week with me next week💃🏼

One of the best days EVER was the day I removed the words “diet” and “cheating” from my vocabulary. ✌🏽

I knew I never wanted my daughter (or son) to battle eating disorders like I did, or a poor relationship with food. Or to think they only need to exercise if they want to lose weight.

Because of the programs I started 8 years my mindset around food has completely shifted, and (not coincidence🤷🏼‍♀️) I’ve been my healthiest, fittest self ever since.

Even eating Crumbl cookies every week bc NEW FLAVORS🤩 , Mexican food, pizza, and cupcakes— just to name my favorites.

There’s never any guilt or shame. No beating myself up. And I know that when I have more than a few meals off track, how to get right back on👏🏽

And I know I can follow this plan for the rest of my life!

That’s why I LOOOOOVE getting it into the hands of every woman I know. 🥰

You thought you heard Him clearly.
You felt so certain that this was the direction He wanted you to go. But now it’s hard. Now it’s challenging you. And you wonder if you can keep going.

My friend, I’ve been there COUNTLESS TIMES.
8 years ago I shifted careers from classroom teacher who was experiencing burnout 👉🏽 online business owner and Christian entrepreneur. There have been beautiful highs and successes! And there have been extreme lows and challenges.

But I’m still here.😊 Not by my own strength, but by seeking Him constantly, leaning into what His word says, and praying fervently!

1️⃣ “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

PRAY: Lord, make me ok with not having full understanding of every step of this journey. I trust you completely and I will continue to follow where you lead!

It’s not lost on me that 8 years ago this started simply by obeying where God was calling me to go.
OBEDIENCE HAS CHANGED MY LIFE.

Everything unpictured — my heart, mindset, relationship with Jesus, relationships and the best friendships with other women. More time with my children and husband. All gifts from obedience!

Today marks another exciting day 1!
I love how my ladies and I literally finish one program and move right into the next… it’s just a way of life.

Such a huge blessing to teach other women how to thrive on amazing food and 30 minute workouts!!!

If you’re a MOM or DAD, spending time on YOUR FITNESS is NOT selfish.

I promise you that when you are around in the future for your kids & grandkids, they will APPRECIATE that you chose to start putting in the work.

My life changed when I decided to make taking care of myself a non-negotiable.💯

Non-negotiable...just like feeding my kids, bathing them, taking them to school, cleaning the house and going to work. It’s easy to find time for those things, right? I don’t ever forget to feed a child or hope I have time to take them to school. I do those things...no matter what.

When someone says “YOU’VE CHANGED” I hope you remember — 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩’𝙨 𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙚 𝙥𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙩. 💓

Lots of new friends on here🫶🏽 so real quick intro about me: SAVED BY JESUS, mama of 2 (girl & boy), autism mom🧩, law enforcement wife, former elementary teacher, entrepreneur now for nearly 8 years… I help busy women simplify their health and fitness, invite God to be the center of it, and earn an income in the cracks of their day.

But it started with that picture on the left👈🏽

As a stressed out/exhausted teacher and new mom, I felt unsettled and uncomfortable- in my skin, in my career, and with the reality of our financial struggles, even though I worked 12 hour days and my husband the same, and we never saw each other.

— I’d gotten into the best shape of my life⁣ after 21 days of a home fitness program & superfood shake😱
— I was paying down debt and giving my family fun, extra wiggle-room with date nights, family outings, and extra shopping money!
— I got pregnant again⁣ with our 2nd child and had a fitness & nutrition routine I could continue to feel amazing with!
— my office was my dining room table, scattered with laundry and toys⁣

My oh my!!!!! How quickly we keep ourselves from what GOD WILL USE, due to fear or silly insecurities!

here’s what I KNEW:

🫠 I felt unfulfilled even after pouring into students all day, because I was coming home EMPTY to my own family.

🫠 I was limited to a small % raise each year, no matter how much of my personal time, weekends, and own money I was putting into lesson prep and furnishing my classroom.

🫠 I felt guilty for being less passionate about my career choice than my peers around me did.

HERE’S WHAT HAPPENED:

👩🏼‍💻 I watched a total stranger get results in her at-home fitness programs while helping others... she worked her own hours from her phone/computer when it worked around her family and schedule.

She invited me a few times over the course of a few months, I was hesitant but felt like it was an opportunity for me to do something DIFFERENT and really step out in faith - I said, why the heck not?

HERE’S WHAT I KNOW NOW:

💖 I intentionally surround myself with POSITIVE, HARDWORKING , INSPIRING + RESILIENT women who want to grow businesses together!

Would you hit LIKE, LOVE, or SHARE if you agree?🙏🏽

We live in a DIET and instant gratification culture.🤦🏼‍♀️ the trends in the fitness industry are endless & confusing. This is why so many people end up STUCK!

You name it — I tried it.

That’s why I can confidently sit here and tell you what WORKS for life.

“Well my sister’s cousin’s neighbor’s aunt lost ___ pounds.”

But where does she stand now?

How realistic was it?

Do you honestly want to go without pizza forever?

Do you honestly want to never have cake with your kids again?

Do you honestly want to eat pre-packaged boxed food for the rest of your life?

I’m betting NO.

What does work? A PLAN.

‼️NEWSFLASH‼️ I know it’s super tempting to grab a cheap protein shake like PREMIER and FAIR LIFE because you’ve heard that “Protein is necessary for your weight loss or muscle building goals”

But EDUCATE YOURSELF😬
READ LABELS 😬🙏🏽

And by labels I mean INGREDIENTS, not the flashy catch-words.

I know a lot of friends who drink these (or products with similar ingredients) claiming to be “healthy”.

Please stop… They are toxic to your immune system and bad for your health. They are literally destroying your gut health. And your gut is like your second brain! it affects everything from your mood, your mental health, to your ability to fight off sickness and recover from your workouts.

Let’s look a few of the ingredients:

1. Folic Acid (synthetic form, most people cannot break it down and use it) you want supplements that have folate ~ not folic acid!

2. B12- cyanocobalamin. The cheapest synthetic form that your body cannot easily use as it’s not bio available.

Sadly, most of the vitamins in this drink your body will never absorb…you want supplements with methylcobalamin b12 - The natural form.

3. Sucralose - this sweetener destroys your gut, and your immune system. It may also cause diabetes, can increase risk of IBS and Crohn’s Disease, has been linked to leaky gut, can cause weight gain, etc.

4. Carrageenan - is a known carcinogen: highly inflammatory and toxic to the digestive tract, and claim that it may be responsible for colitis, IBS, rheumatoid arthritis, and even colon cancer.

There are a few others, but those are the worst offenders.

Sharing to inspire the desire for you to EDUCATE YOURSELF on ingredients and labels. 🙏🏽🙏🏽

Trust me, I used to see these “convenient shakes” in the store aisles and think I was doing good.

Knowledge is POWER and Ingredients matter!💯

When you’re looking for a good protein shake, look for MINIMAL ingredients you can pronounce and recognize.

I just love when people tell me they could never do what I do because they are introverted or quiet or don’t have a social circle... girl, SAMESIES, so that excuse doesn’t fly around here 🤣

It’s actually the most FREEING THING for us slightly awkward, socially anxious introverts to build a business and connect with people in a real way on social media because we don’t have to ACTUALLY GO ANYWHERE + we get to choose who we surround ourselves with!!💃🏼

💣 TRUTH BOMB TUESDAY 💣

I hear a lot of people say " I only have 1 coke a day". (Also INSERT Starbucks coffee drink/sugary smoothie, etc.....) Surely that alone can't derail or halt your fat loss goals right?

Well... Yeah. It does.

On the left is 1 soda at a whopping 16.25 teaspoons of sugar per 20 oz. bottle.

In the middle is 1 week of sodas at 1/day. Yep. That's over 1 POUND of sugar.

On the right... 1 month = 455 teaspoons of sugar!!!! Or over 4 POUNDS.

One of the reasons I'm passionate about what I do to help people regain control of their health ➡️ The AVERAGE AMERICAN eats 77lbs of ADDED SUGAR per year & I'll bet plenty of people thought ...well I'm way below that.

Peeps, 1 SODA A DAY puts you at around 48lbs of sugar a year. 48 POUNDS!!!

Now add in twinkies, snickers bars, red bulls, salad dressing, cookies, cake, BBQ sauce....

You see my point? Sugar is EVERYWHERE!

This is all added sugar.
No minerals.
No vitamins.
Just pure sugar guaranteed to send insulin soaring and storing fat like a pack rat.
