KAYF LIMITED is back with new release - Transylvania, a four track e.p. Produced by Alexander Lozovoy, he delivers two very snazzy, sublime and introspective productions. And, as expected from the Kayf stable, two differently flavoured remixes by label head-honcho Artur Nikolaev alongside Peruvian producer Alejandro Cuestas.
The first track is Village and opens the e.p. with an intelligent and intricate minimal techno affair. While forged from cinematic tones, Village evolves into a much brighter, vibrant and melodic motif. The second track is e.p. title track, Transylvania, which offers the listener a very high-tech and stripped back creation. With lots of moving parts, the overall hypnotic flow takes you to a place you have never been to before.
Cuestas remix might be considered as more dance-floor friendly with its percussive-driven power blended with rippling, haunting synths and ethereal pads adding further warmth and depth.
Nikolaev brings the heat on his interpretation, lifting the energy even more with a very high-tech, stripped-back, minimal monster that builds to a slow-release of tension before big beats take over and drive the rhythms to new levels of harmonic progression.
