Huge thanks goes out to the legends (Hayden & Tash) for putting up with myself and Poida for the night while we sorted out the rigs.

Both of us had leaking windscreens, which turned into a screen replacement for Poida, so we got to camp out in the RVSS factory for the night.

Added the pinchweld to the tyre rack today to stop any damage from the edge of the metal.

A little over a metre of it and you can also cover the tiedown points.

I used the one from the Carbon 12K V1 that I used to have but never fitted.

For those who prefer to follow along over here on the page, I have decided to shelve the Warn 9500XDC for now until such a time I have the funds to buy the very expensive replacement motor.

I have decided to go with a Carbon Offroad Australia 12K winch.

I had the V1 on the 90 Series Prado before I lost it in the accident, so am going with a brand I know and trust.

For those wanting to purchase a winch, I can highly recommend the Carbon winches and yes, they are Australian made.

Pulled up right on dusk to this campsite.

Besides the trash and hot coals left in the fire pit, it ended up being a decent but pretty dusty camping spot.

Those branches left behind by the previous campers were green too, so no good for firewood, but I did bring my own.

Even if it was only for one night, as I became unwell, it was good to get out again.
