We start another Ad Testing workshop tomorrow... Early Bird ends tonight! Here's what we're covering:
1) Our 3 phased isolation testing process to determine high converting "Message Combinations" for every channel and your funnel.
2) How we use AI engines to assist in the message creation and testing process
3) Understanding how high converting copy leads to conversions through the lens of the Trans-Theoretical Model of Human Behavior.
4) How we set up ads, test and get momentum to scale
5) Headline formulas tested and reverse engineered from our best working ads.
6) Thinking process for image/video ideation
7) Exotic Bidding strategies to get momentum
8) Visual Models to communicate ideas (Some of my secret sauce)
9) 1st Party Data Enhancements for better CPA's and larger, faster scaling
Also, we talk about where ads are going in 2023 and beyond (Multi-channel)
I'm told by many past members they will continue to join these workshops because they say they learn new stuff every time.

My 3 phase ad testing process to find the right message combination for multi-channel ads without wasting spend on 'Spaghetti Testing
Most ad testing methods boil down to a simple process:
"Brainstorm a bunch of hooks and angles, then throw it all against the wall and see what sticks"
The pros and "OG's" in the marketing space refer to it as "Spaghetti Testing".
And its the worst type of testing because its the most costly.
When 70-80% of your budget is wasted on stuff that should never seen the light of day in the first place.
I think we all agree there has to be a better way.
This is where my "PBC Process" comes in.
In short, I have developed a series of "Elements" that I've found are the key 'decision making' elements the brain uses.
And I've had to carefully reverse-engineer the highest converting ads we've ever had in our agency to discover this.
I found when certain 'elements' were addressed, in the right sequence, absolute magic happens.
(Translation: 2X-5X results)
So I developed a 'sequential' testing method that tests these certain combinations of elements.
This eliminated the bloated ad spend that comes from typical "spaghetti testing"
Because we tested the right elements, in the right sequence in the most cost effective way.
Ever since we've developed this process, we've only had to spend 20-30% of what we used to spend when spaghetti testing.
Its a failproof method that works every time. (If you know how to do it properly)
If you want to see how it measures up, click this link and watch the videos on that page.
Also glance at the screenshot case studies... it works.

This concept of only 'one good ad' to use with every audience is very flawed because it has its limits and quickly burns out these days
Because it causes massive ad fatigue when we 'hammer' the same ad to the same audience so much.
The idea behind it when we created this method was to speak to someone's "primary message elements".
Because we noticed that within a given target audience, there are usually 2-5 "mindsets" that respond to different 'frames of reference'.
These mindsets are "pockets of people" that we tap into.
https://pages.northnodesolutions.com/pbc-process-invite-2023
So we developed a methodology that allowed us to 'micro-test' certain elements without wasting time and spend on...
...wait for it...
..."brainstorming hooks and angles".
I love that last phrase [...sarcasm]
Marketers try to make themselves sound so smart.
But in reality most testing they do is vomit out a ton of "not-well-thought-out" hooks and then throw it all against a wall to "see what sticks".
I call it the true mark of an amateur.
That type of random testing I call "Top-Down Testing".
And if you like wasting ad spend on stuff that only ever has a 'low chance' of really working then be my guest.
But, Instead of that craziness...
Why don't we deploy a "Bottom-Up" Testing approach which is based on a series of 'micro-tests.
These micro-tests show us the exact way to sequentially 'build' the message based on what the data tells us
Without wasting a bunch on ad spend on unproven "hooks".
And it does not require any fancy 'tracking' software to do it at all.

Why Our Superior Messaging System beats any "Social Media Ad" training we've ever been exposed to. (And we've looked at everything) and 'Resurrects ROAS' on every level.
As we transition to 'cookieless tracking' we are developing new ways to optimize our message AND our Data.
In this video we break down:
1. The differences you get in your Ad metrics when using our system versus other so called 'trainings' that are littered with inefficiencies at every level.
2. Why certain metrics tell a 'deeper story' and allow for larger returns over time. [if you know how to read them right]
3. How our 'Hybrid Data' system allows for better optimization [and retargeting retention] of your pixel to find the right audiences.
4. How to truly read 'Event Match Quality' and how it really affects your ads.
5. Our "identity resolution" process we've 'bolted on' to our current system for supercharging optimization, retargeting and ultimately 'Resurrecting ROAS'.

[Limited Time Replay] 'Targeting with Text' Method
[Aired 3-13-19] The top question we get asked by advertisers about Facebook ads is on targeting...
"Facebook doesn't have a specific 'interest' or 'keyword' that reaches my target audience, so how do I target?"
I get that...
Firstly we don't have some 'ghost' setting that unlocks other targets inside of the ads manager interface...
But we do know how to 'tell' Facebook's algorithm WHO to show the ad to.
So yesterday I did a 2 part live training...
...First part was how we "Target with Text" and reach more users through a unique 'Contextual Conversion' method...
...you can watch the replay here:
code2conversions.com/code-2x-5x-training-replay
The second part was based on another question...
"Does your ad method work for ecommerce/physical products?
Yes it absolutely does, it works with ANY type of ad.
I even pulled out someone selling t-shirts and hats...
...and wrote their ad on the spot.
This is where it happened:

[Replay] Crafting 2X-5X Facebook Ad Returns
[Aired 3/2/19] Our latest workshop revealed why 'lazer targeting' for Facebook ads is outdated and why pro copywriters usually miss the mark for social media...
northnodesolutions.com/code-on-demand-replay
Now let me qualify that statement...
I love copywriters and I consider myself one as well.
But if a pro copywriter watches this...
I'm willing to bet they'll agree with me in my argument.
Plus, I give the best evidence one can for it.
Because if you watched the training you would know that "Social Media Copy"...
...is fundamentally different than "traditional copy".
While this parlayed "targeting myth" about being as specific as possible works against your optimization.
We live in a 'social media' age of communication...
Which is different than the traditional 'internet' age...
...and yes there is a fundamental difference between these ages.

Attempting to apply 'traditional copywriting' on Facebook ads is like fitting a square peg into a round hole when all tests show it does NOT work as well.
Whoever thinks that's a great idea has not seen this new groundbreaking study done by Hubspot and Outbrain...
Finally we've got the best argument I've ever seen...
If people are completely over these 'hype' words on other platforms...
Then does anyone actually believe this would work on a platform where the users will call you out for any inauthenticity in the comments?
They will always call out any shenanigans...
...especially when someone is 'hyping' things up or 'faking it'.
Or how about the fact that they can mark your ad as spam or hide all posts from you with one click?
Which causes quality and relevance scores to go down and eventually that ad stops getting impressions OR costs skyrocket.
(Facebook is the 'party', not that akward 'networking event' where people are hawking their wares every minute)
So if you're still thinking that your little 'fire emoji' makes a difference in your headline then you're missing my point.
Amateurs use gimmicks or ridiculous 'attention getters' because they don't know any better.
All of that is secondary to a good message with relevance and context...
...and those ridiculous power words are almost meaningless.
After witnessing over 2 million in ad spend over the last year inside our agency I can 100% say beyond a shadow of a doubt this statement:
"We've found a better way, a method that 'works with' Facebook's algorithm..."
...and not always trying to 'skirt around' it like most marketers do.
I literally scoured every training, page and podcast I could to see if anyone understands the Facebook algorithm like us and uses a similar method.
Nope. Not one.
We get 2X - 5X results when our clients come to us from somewhere else.
It works because it is designed to trigger all the relevant metrics that Facebook sees as a better 'user experience'.
(Which they actua
This Facebook Ad Technique illustrates why most who run Ads have to constantly ‘start over’ or refresh their creative...
After overseeing 2 Million+ in Ad spend in 2018 alone we have fully tested this methodology enough to know that most don’t get it right.
We used this with some of our A-list clients like Digital Marketer and knocked it out of the park...
We also used it ‘get paid’ to generate qualified buyers for our clients resulting in one of them being featured by Facebook.
Most advertisers attempt to use “traditional techniques” that were never meant to be used for Facebook.
Yet nobody wanted hear our unique philosophy on how it could be done better.
They simply just went along their business without knowing how much of a difference this could make.
Our EPIC Formula for Facebook ads has now been proven across so many campaigns that it’s now self evident.
Watch this video that outlines what we refer to as “The Engagement Continuum” and how we use it with every ad we run.
