🚀 Just wrapped up an unforgettable visit to Space Center Houston, the Official Visitor Center of NASA Johnson Space Center! 🌌 If you’re even remotely interested in space exploration, this place should be at the top of your travel list.

From standing next to the towering Saturn V rocket to stepping inside a shuttle replica, the exhibits here are nothing short of awe-inspiring.

Whether you're planning a family trip, an educational outing, or just want to indulge your inner astronaut, Space Center Houston is a must-visit. 🌠 Tim and I were absolutely blown away by the depth and richness of this place. We can’t wait to go back!

When we first bought I knew the first place we had to take it was to my grandmother’s house in Mississippi.

My grandparents had a motorhome and I loved taking trips to national parks when I was growing up- they gave me my love of camping and the outdoors. My fondest memories are of us camping in the Smokies during the summer, fishing with my grandfather, making pies with my grandmother, and always catching lizards in the garden.

The view isn’t much, but this trip is exactly what my soul needed. And I couldn’t think of a better official first trip for this magical bus of ours.

I wish I would have had more time in Austin this week. My trip was far too short but I was happy I could make it out to explore for a few hours in between work things.

We explored the capitol grounds and spent our time reading the monuments including the Texas African American History Memorial.

The monument honors the many contributions of African Americans in Texas. It traces the history of African Americans from the 1500s to the present. It includes representations of heroes such as Texas Revolutionary fighter Hendrick Arnold to leaders such as Barbara Jordan. The central portion of the memorial dramatically depicts Juneteenth in Texas: June 19, 1865 when African Americans were freed from the bonds of slavery - more than 2 years after the Emancipation Proclamation was initially issued.

First trip with and I think it’s safe to say he’s a natural! Kona was a little more skeptical but she came around a few miles down the road.

One of the main reasons we wanted a bus or a van was so we could travel more with the dogs. They both love being outside so much I honestly think they love trials more than we do! So being able to load them up in the bus today and head to a state park was literally a dream come true!

Our plan for this weekend was pretty simple: Pick up and take it slow.

We spent our first night at .farms in NY State through where we got to wake up early, see the animals, walk the orchards, and pick some blueberries.

Our first night with in the wild could not have been anymore perfect 🥺 We got to stay on at the charming .farms 🐓🐷🐰 in the Finger Lakes region of NY.

We’re over the moon. Our hearts are full. And the only word I can think of to describe this whole new chapter is LUCKY. And if you ever get the chance to hear how this whole thing happened (working on a blog post, promise!) you’ll agree that it was fate and magic that brought us to her 👩🏻🚌🧔🏻
