Spent overnight at JB with us!

We arrived at JB at around 8am and nitany places were still open so we just grabbed some nasi lemak at a stall around JB City Square Mall.

📍Places we visited are the following:
Oriental Kopi 华阳 @ City Square
Queen Karaoke City Square JB
亚坤纯正西刀鱼丸 Ah Koong Restaurant
Lapis Lapis!

We also tried some random bah k*t teh store which I don't remember the name. HAHA.

We then headed to Z hotel at Jalan Wong Ah F**k which is very near to JB CIQ. The room was very big and spacious. Recommend staying here! After checking in, we rushed to the spa right away to make it on time for our booking.

KSL City Mall, ate D Laksa
Sentosa Street Food 大丰美食街

Had a lot of food for our Day 1 and we headed back to the hotel to rest.

KSL City Mall, Thong Thai Traditional Thai Massage
Goh Zha Lang Restoran Taiwan

We went back to Singapore later that night, after having dinner!

An unplanned visit to the Philippines 🇵🇭

MX suddenly decided to follow me to my vacation in the Philippines! He wasn't feeling good for the whole time so we didn't get to go around that much. Maybe ...

So did we finish that bunch of seafood that we ordered? 😂

After we had dinner at Wey Wey Seafood, we were so full so we didn't get to proceed to our next stop which should be the night market or pasar malam. Our stomach was so loaded and couldn't ingest more food. 😂 we decided to end the day and went back to the resort.

We walked around the resort and we also ordered a drink from the bar at the swimming pool area of the Harris Resort Barelang.

📍Rocksalt Beach Club

We also passed by another bar but they seemed to have an event at that time.

📍Ti Punch Bar

We then headed back to our hotel and rested through the night. We did order some room service from the restaurant but didn't film it. ✌️

I wanted to film the sunrise but it was dark 'coz it started to rain. It was gloomy but the scenario was quite cool.

After checking out, we roamed around the resort one last time. The beach area was so nice and the sun was so bright and up. Good thing the rain stopped. 😂

We had breakfast at a cafe nearby. Not really nearby 'coz you need to drive.

📍 Underground Coffee Batam
They use brewed coffee to use their coffee blend and ut was amazing. 👌

📍Burger Front Kopak
Tomi says it's one of the best burger he had in Batam. I think it is also quite nice, worth a try. 👍

We drove back to the central area and MX wanted to get something to eat again 'coz he's craving for mee goreng.

📍Warung Bude Greenland
It was a small eatery which has good foods. It was also very cheap! Tomi frequently goes here to eat as well. It is very popular among the locals there, you can even see a queue during peak hours.

After that, we just asked Tomi to drop us at Batam Center to wait for our ferry trip back to Singapore.

Another option for a cheap getaway! Just an hour of ferry away from Singapore, we are in another country to relax and be a millionaire! HAHA.

Here we are at Batam, Riau Islands, Indonesia! Just a fun fact, Batam Island is the largest city of the province of Riau Islands!

Batam Trip Itinerary
7AM SGT Ferry from Singapore to Batam
7AM WIT Arrive at Batam Center (feels like magic! HAHAHA)

Upon arrival we looked for the driver of the car, Tomi, that we hired for the whole span of our trip.

The locations included in the video are the following:
📍Welcome to Batam Monument
📍Maha Vihara Duta Maitreya Monastery, said to be the largest Buddhist temple in Batam and might also be in the Southeast Asia!

After a quick trip to those places, we ate at a kopitiam along the road which I am not sure about the name. 😂 and Tomi also suggested that we see this over looking spot at a highway where we can see the residential area of Batam while the industrial area can be seen when you cross to the other side of the road. This was quite cool as it seems to be a border between two areas.

After this, we went to stroll at the mall.
📍Grand Batam Mall
📍BCS Mall, checked and tried the sample Kueh Lapis of Lamoist but decided not to buy it.

We then went to a home bakery,
📍Diana Layer Cakes, tried out their samples. It was so good and we bought their original variant.

I really like how we can just taste the samples of each store's kueh lapis. HAHA. ✌️

At around 1pm, we decided to head to our hotel for early check-in.
📍HARRIS Resort Barelang

We checked in, settled our things in the room, and headed out right away for a 2 hour massage!!!

Headed to our scheduled massage at 3:30pm,
📍INDOTHAI Massage

This could be the best massage in Batam. It was so relaxing. Omg.

Ofc, after a very long massage, we got hungry and headed out to Harbour Bay for a seafood dinner! Many people suggested this seafood restaurant and it didn't disappoint us!
📍Wey Wey Seafood

We ordered a lot. We were overwhelmed and excited to eat seafood. HAHA. Watch out for the next episode of this video!

This is our first overseas trip together!!!

We went to Genting Highlands in Pahang, Malaysia. We spent 4D3N to enjoy going around there and of course the weather! It was sooo cold.

From Singapore to Genting Highlands, it is approximately 6 hours ride excluding the time you spend for the customs. Upon arriving, we immediately settled our room at First World Hotel which took so long. Omg. HAHA. But we chose this one as it is most accessible to many attractions and activities. ✌️

Day 1 Itinerary
7 AM Bus from Singapore to Malaysia
11 AM Rest stop/Lunch at Yong Peng, Malaysia
4 PM Check in at First World Hotel
7 PM Dinner at Motorino Pizzeria @ High Line
8 PM Ripley's Adventureland
We got the 5 Attraction Pass which includes:
- Jurassic Research Center
- Ripley's Believe It or Not! Odditorium
- Infinity Room
- 4D Trick Art Museum
- Zombie Outbreak
10 PM Walk around the area + Supper

As for our experience, the queue system was quite fast that we were able to go through each of the houses for two times. Can you even believe that? HAHAHA. However, I should tell you that we had one express pass to use for one haunted house of our choice. It helped us to get a long rest after the hustle and bustle but I think we still had the chance to enter the houses twice even without it.
