Deeds of valor, oaths betrayed, and the fire of vengeance.
Having drunk the magic potion, Sigurd takes the guise of Gunnar and, astride his steadfast steed Grani, soars through the walls of flame to the fateful mountain where the proud valkyrie Brynhild awaits. In Gunnar’s name, he leads her from her fiery hall to the realm of the Burgundians.

But when the spell upon her true beloved is revealed, Brynhild’s heart burns with wrath. Betrayed and dishonored, she calls for blood. Her vengeance strikes with the force of a storm, sundering the bonds of kinship and loyalty within the house of Volsung, and setting them upon a path from which none shall return unscathed.
