🌹I share only parts of my life online, but I am truly fortunate. My life defies an infinite number of stereotypes, which I have to credit my family with, particularly my mother, and the generations before.

It had been planned for literally MONTHS. ✈️🧳 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Hurricane Ida had other plans....we ended up spending 1 day in N.O., then jumping in the car and pretty much fleeing. 🚙💨 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The whole experience was surreal. I've been to New Orleans several times, but I have never seen it so empty! 👀 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I will give Louisiana credit-- the pandemic was being taken seriously...by mandate, you couldn't enter any building without proof of vaccination. And masks are still required! 😷 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I'm happy that we all got out safe, and really, so what if my vacay was cut short?
