I’ve been asked this a lot so here’s my answer and explanation.
No, I don’t do Beachbody coaching anymore. Yes, I still love the workouts. I have nothing against Beachbody, but this is why I quit.
Living on social media sucks. Honestly, I love all of yinz, but I really don’t care to share every bit of my life life with yinz 😂. I don’t care to nag you or force conversation. I don’t care to record my workout (I’ve been loving it being a time to disconnect). And that business is going to tell you that you don’t need to be on social media all day but listen…
If you want to be successful, you’re going to be on there constantly. You can’t workout without making sure you record it. If you’re not sending so many messages a day, you’re behind. You have to be present on social media throughout the day to be seen more. And goodness, if you don’t relate to other moms by being “so overwhelmed” and “so worn out” then what on earth are you even posting about? 😂
I have met some amazing people through Beachbody and I have made friends all over the country that I never would’ve met if it wasn’t for it, but the community is not all it’s cracked up to be either. And I’m not here to bash anyone or steer anyone away from Beachbody (you do you boo), but a lot of coaches out there really portray different personalities and intentions on social media which is something I think that’s wrong across the board with social media. So although I am thankful for some of the events I got to go to, I also got to see how some of these people really treat others off the screen and it wasn’t a community that I connect with. Honestly, it felt like high school all over again 😂
Listen, I really have nothing against Beachbody and I still love the workouts because they truly do fit my lifestyle as a single parent the best, but I really don’t care to be so obsessed with recruiting and sharing everything 24/7.
I do believe there is something in the universe for me to share health and fitness and my journey with all of you. I truly believe I have something of value to give people to help them change their lives and live a better quality life, but it’s not through all that. (Rest in comments)
