Red Flower is COMING!

Keli is an impetuous teenager who dreams of only one thing: to undergo the Katafali ritual in order to become a man in the eyes of his tribe. However, the young boy struggles to fully embrace the peaceful philosophy of his people, as well as the wise counsel of his elders… It is then that Anansi, the sorcerer, has a vision of an apocalypse: the village is going to be invaded by foreigners endowed with mysterious and deadly powers! The members of the clan now face a dilemma: how to defend themselves when their beliefs impose non-violence? A modern blend of manga and ancestral African tales, Red Flower is an action and adventure Shonen that will take you into the explosive encounter of two opposing cultures, one filled with animism and spirituality.

A classic comes to life in a new way.

The Three Musketeers like you’ve never seen them before… In an action-packed Manga version! A bold new take on a classic story.

1627. A young, noble and penniless man rides towards Paris. The impetuous d’Artagnan harbors a single dream: to become a Musketeer of the King and thus join an elite corps symbolizing prestige and heroism. By a twist of fate, he will cross paths with three valiant companions in arms: Athos, Porthos, and Aramis, known as the Three Musketeers! In the realm of Louis XIII, conspiracy reigns. Catholics strive to retain their power against Protestants, the English are perceived as a threat, and the Musketeers must thwart the schemes of the powerful Cardinal de Richelieu and his elusive accomplice, Milady de Winter. But don’t they say that strength lies in unity? The Three Musketeers have made it their motto: “One for all… all for one!”

Adapted from the most recent movie available on Amazon Prime Video.

Following a series of murders in the ghetto, a young Jewish typist is recruited by the Police to assist in their investigation. They feel that having an insider would help them solve the crimes in a place perceived as impenetrable to them. Her research leads her on the trail of a bloodthirsty murderer whose acts are rooted in old superstitions and who marks his victims with kabbalistic symbols. Her pursuit gradually turns into a personal quest, where she will have to confront her own roots and deepest fears. Soon, the hunter becomes the prey. As the killer targets her. Can she survive this?

In the tradition of Jack the Ripper or The Alienist, this gripping Scandinavian thriller takes us deep into the heart of a ghetto where poverty intersects with crime to better blur the tracks of a predator whose nightmare visions foreshadow the terrible events to come. From the new Scandinavian masters of suspense and horror: Benni B dker (Christmas Bestiary, Grimm) and Christian H jgaard (House of Secrets, the Dreaming).

Let me tell you a name that you are GOING to be hearing about EVERYWHERE in the year to come: Asiah Fulmore. In addition to creating for the likes of DC, NBC Universal and a creator owned series called Amethyst Princess of Gemworld, she is illustrating the graphic novel for Disney's Almost There with the characters from The Princess and the Frog.

When I say I am beyond geeked that she is the interior artist for my comic book. As I say, she will be a household name, so I feel privileged to get to work with her before she blows up for real for real.

Give her a follow on Instagram at asiahfulmore to see more of her incredible work! And check out our Kickstarter to see more beautiful pages from issue 2.

Hey everyone!

15 days left on the MUTINY BLACK GIRL MAGIK campaign!
We're currently sitting at 61% of our initial goal with 120 of you backing our project.

Good, but we can do better! The First Lady of FairSquare Graphics demands better! :)
Today, we want to spotlight two gentlemen, Guile and Morby.
Guile is an old friend of Fabrice and fellow Frenchman. Morby lives in Nigeria and has worked on countless FairSquare Graphics projects such as NOIR IS THE NEW BLACK, INTERTWINED or NO FUTURE.
As a matter of fact, Guile Sharp is the one who introduced Toyin Morby Ajetunmobi aka Morby to us. So we're clearly family here.

For this issue, we called Guile at the last minute. Another artist was supposed to provide cover for MUTINY BGM #2 but could not make it in time. We then called Guile with this risky mission: provide a cover in less than a weekend. To which he replied: "But… I have a convention this weekend, it's going to be complicated." He enthusiastically agreed though. And we warned Morby that he'd only have a few hours to color the piece.

Let's be clear, this is not how it should be. Color artists and letterers are usually the last pieces of the puzzle when it comes to creating a comic book. This should remain an exceptional situation, not the norm.
So… Guile quickly found his concept. Lots of tentacles were involved.

When we saw it, we thought the photo had been taken upside-down. But this is how Guile originally envisioned it.
When the inks came, Fabrice flipped it thinking that, because Mutiny is not super well known yet, some fans might pass on this beautiful piece.

The campaign was launching on Wed. October 16 and this only was delivered… a day before, on the Tuesday. Morby knew he did not have much time. But he also worked on Mutiny BGM before and is a frequent collaborator of Guile. It worked like a charm.

The final result is SPECTACULAR. If you have not added this cover to your order, please consider buying it. Guile, who worked for the biggest companies, and Morby, are the unsung heroes of our campaign.

And since Guile is from , we have made a considerable effort for those ordering from Europe with very attractive shipping costs ($10) for his cover. DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS! :)

Cat's out of the bag. MUTINY: BLACK GIRL MAGIK comes back October 16 on KS with issue #2! The whole gang returns: Kristal Adams, Asiah Fulmore, Amanda Meadows (our Black Femme Trinity) and some very fine cover artists that we'll share very soon.

The further adventures of Moriya in a place where Magik is banned take a dramatic turn with this new chapter. Not to be missed!

FairSquare Graphics is very proud about this one, folks.
Please take a minute to click the link in comments and pre-register for updates. It's our flagship series. The one that keeps selling out at every convention we show up at.
After a mind-blowing campaign for issue #1, we can't possibly think of anything but a success for issue #2. Join us now! :)
