The word 'Suhaag' means 'Bride' and Suhaag songs are sung in the lead up to the Wedding by the family and friends on the Bride's side.
These heart-wrenching songs capture the thoughts, the fears, the anxieties of the Bride as she contemplates the last few days of being at her Parental home.
