Been on a streaming hiatus on all accounts ( yall know I rebranded right?)
Just curious who is still out there. Been playing Stalker 2 in my free time and wanted to share my thoughts.
I'm not too far into it yet but as of now its a solid 7/10 game. Some things that could potentially bring that rating up with future updates are:
1. Fix enemy spawning. As of now they spawn on the player and are not static to the game map. Meaning you can clear an area and think you are ok to rummage around and loot but the enemies will continue to spawn over time.
2. No reward for killing the hardest enemies. Mutants carry no loot and typically aren't protecting anything of much value. And heavily armored NPCs are usually the same.
3. I don't think item durability is a necessary mechanic. Item durability makes most weapons worthless to all traders and you have to spend far to much to repair them.

Over all it is an amazing game with an intriguing story, good gun play and an emmersive open world. If you have Game Pass I recommend you check it out for free.
