Film Synopsis

Laura's Review
This movie we went to see at the cinema in the 4DX screening and with our pre booking we also got treated to a free slushie, in either lime slime or mellow flavoured. Me and my husband both had the lime slime flavour and I do say that it was refreshing and brilliant. It was very nice of the cinema at cineworld, to give out the free drinks to help i suppose indorse the movie. I am sure you have all heard that a lot of people did not like the film, however I do have to say that I disagree with all the negative reviews that these people seem to have given this film.
I do agree that it is not as good as the previous movie in regards to the story line, but I do feel that it had some great scenes and some great comedic moments that in our screening most of the audience did have a little chuckle. Now with this kind of movie I do recommend that you see it in the 4dx screening as it made the movie more fun and you really did feel like you were in the film with the chase scenes, and not only do your seats move but there are other effects that you feel whilst you are in there. There are some little moans i have about the seats they are very small and do not accommodate for people of different sizes and also it was hard to find your seat number as they have put them on the back of the chair, a lot of people came in and took a long time to find where their chair is that we had to help them. We were in the back row and it was easier for us to look for our numbers as there were no seats behind us, but there is a little gap by the cup holder on the chair where they could have put the seat numbers.
Ok now back to the movie itself we of course get the return of the cast from the previous movie and it was great to see them back, with some new characters also being introduced and with that it really does look into the teenagers and how this new role can affect them and the family dynamics. It is nice to see that our main character Phoebe, played by Mckenna Grace, goes through the typical teenage troubles of feeling like an outsider and whilst battling this she also has the trouble of being a ghostbuster. I don't want to spoil the movie too much for you so i wont go into detail but for our lead character it is a story of family and discovering who you can trust, admittedly it is hard to see as she is such a young character. Not only her but also Paul Rudd's character Mr Grooberson who I feel is finding his feet in this family and trying to find out what his position is in this family and I am glad to say at the end we finally get that answer.
The plot of the movie is different and it does look more into the history of the ghostbusters in a way and shows that there was always someone to fight evil even in the olden days, the plot i think is mainly around the family dynamic rather than the ghosts and monsters that they faced. We do get to see a great monster come back and attack the town and the usual story of the ghostbusters, I do think they could do something different with this predictable plot but then again maybe that is what makes this movie so likable. The knowledge that no matter what they will always be there to save the day, let me know in the comments below if you prefer it that way.
This movie had great cinematic scenes and the characters have been designed, which you can see that they used the budget of 100 million us dollars to great these amazing scenes and special effects. I do have to say that director Gil Kenan has done a great job creating this film and one that any ghostbuster fans must see, i don't know if it was just by chance but when me and my husband got back home the original Ghostbusters movie was on the television and it was great to watch it again. Please give this movie a try and maybe in 4 dx i do think that it made the movie more fun being interactive, but i do warn that the trailers are also included and the trailer for the new Godzilla and kong movie well let's say i think that would be to rough for me in the 4dx screening but that's just me. Laura's Review
This is a new addition to the w***y wonka movies comment below which is your favorite wonka movie, now back to this movie. In this film we get to see Timothee Chalamet become our beloved chocolate maker w***y wonka and alongside him we get to see Hugh Grant play our very own Oompa Loompa, which i have to admit i was a bit worried about and was not sure how that would work but let me say that i was pleasantly surprised by his work. We also get a few well known faces to the screen which I will list below.

I have noticed that they seem to be making or in this case remaking a lot of the roald dahl movies, what do you think ? Are there any of his books that you would like to see be made into a movie ?
Whilst i was watching this movie i have to admit that i was looking at the wardrobe that all the cast were wearing, i especially loved wonka's coat and really want to wear it. I also have to admit that I loved that time period and the outfits that they wore, I do have to say that I loved the outfit that our Mr Orange man was wearing. Whilst watching me and my partner had to of course have some chocolate, cause there’s chocolate and there's chocolate. With that in mind it made me want to go and visit Cadbury world where they make chocolate before your eyes, if you haven't been I recommend you do as it is a great family attraction.
In this movie they use colour with great effect which helps to lighten the mood in some parts of the movie, where it is a bit dark and does put you in a low mood. However the comedy in this movie is brilliant and will leave you with a little giggle every now and then. It also represents the town before Wonka and his chocolates came into their lives which brought light and colour to the world. I do wish that someone, somewhere would make a real Wonka's shop. It would make a fortune, mind you if you have all seen the news about that wonka experience. Well, let's hope for a better one shall we.
This is a feel good movie and one that i am sure will make a great family movie night or sleepover movie with all the good sweet snacks that you can eat, it is a light hearted movie that i recommend watching. I look forward to this movie being released on dvd/ blue ray so i can watch it all over again, and this time i will go and buy all the sweets that i can get and be more creative maybe when i bake a cake or pudding, what would you create if you could? We would all love to be just as creative as W***y Wonka. With this in mind there are some links to the original W***y Wonka movie, which if you are a fan like me you will find them very easy to spot. The movie has some great and catchy songs that will have you tapping and humming along, especially with the well known Oompa Loompa song which we all know well. With that I do have to say that when you finish this movie make sure that you stay and watch the credits as they have additional scenes, which i am sure you will all enjoy. After watching this movie I thought about how I would rate each of the known Wonka movies. In first place will still be the original W***y Wonka and the chocolate movie. After that I would put this movie with the songs and the plot of the whole movie, including the side plot. Then it would be Johnny Depp's Charlie and the Chocolate factory. As much as I like the songs in this movie they are not as good as the new Wonka movie. I don't want to spoil any of this film for you so I do not want to write too much in this review, but I do have to say that the cast and the plot, which was all directed by Paul King, was an amazing idea. I can not wait to watch this movie again.

Film Synopsis
The story of British humanitarian Nicholas Winton, who helped save hundreds of predominantly Jewish children from the N***s on the eve of World War II.
Laura's Review
This movie is 1 hour and 50 minutes long with a certificate of 12 A, this movie is a historic biography that looks into the second world war. Focusing on the true story of the operation known as the kindertransport, where a man known as Nicholas Winton plans to assist the rescue of jewish children before the start of the second world war. This movie was directed by James Hawes who has also worked of the tv series merlin and doctor who, he works along side with some great actors and actresses such as :
Anthony Hopkins who plays the role of Nicholas Winton
Johnny Flynn who plays the younger Nicholas Winton
Helena Bonham carter who plays Bobi Winton
Jonnathan Pryce who plays Martin Blake
Lena Otin who plays Grete Winton
Each of these talents really shine through in this movie, which helps really make you feel each emotion as well as if you were remembering all of what happened along with the main character. I do have to warn that it is an emotional roller coaster, one which I recommend that you watch with a lot of comfort food for me was chocolate, someone to cuddle with for me it was my dog and a box of tissues. The movie starts with quiet background classical music that builds as it introduces us to what the movie is about, whilst first showing us flashbacks to the past. Being a new mother to my little boy some scenes are harder to watch, about the children and the conditions that they found themselves in. It is based on a true story where a man called Nicholas Witon saved 669 children's lives throughout the years of 1938 and 1939, along with a group of people all of whom wished to help the poor little children.
During this film we get to see the different life that Sir Nicholas has led in his younger years and that of when he got older, in doing this we get to see that what we do with our life has affects when we get older. In this it shows us what kind people can do when we put our minds to it, even amongst the fear and evil good can rise from the ashes. Even with the sad plot it has some light hearted humour which helps to lighten the mood of the viewing if only a little, which in my opinion helped me immensely whilst watching this movie without it I wouldn't have gotten through the film. I do admit it is one that you have to be in a certain mood to watch with that in mind it will be one that I am sure will be a lot spoken off but not a lot will view it, due to the plot of the movie.
As the movie progresses you start to wonder what happened to the children that he saved, and I am pleased to let you know that you do find out. The trailer I do warn you spoils a little bit of the movie and I do think it would have been better if they showed very little in the trailer, but I do find that is a common problem in watching the trailers that are released before the movie. The ending of this movie is a heartwarming one and i am sure it will bring a tear to your eye as it did for me, it brings closure to what i am sure was a very interesting life full of emotions and difficult times for Sir Nicholas Witon who was knighted by the queen for his work in saving the lives of all those children. Please watch this movie and let me know what you think, even though it is a hard watch it will leave you thinking about that time in our history. It makes me think about all those poor people who had to go through all this , whilst the threat of war hung over their heads. I do have to ask that you be respectful in the comments about this movie and this review, for these poor people I can not imagine what they went through. This is a short review that I do not want to spoil too much about the movie, it is one that I think could be introduced into schools when teaching about the second world war and that of the holocaust and the discrimination of the Jewish race. Please watch this movie and let me know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below, I give this movie an 8/10.

Laura Review
This movie has been certified at 15 and after watching this movie i really agree with that age rating, it is an hour and 35 minutes long movie which is a thriller/ comedy. In this movie we get to meet a lot of colourful characters from Syd who is played by Ray Liotta who sadly passed and this was to be his last completed role in cinema, we also get to meet Scott Seiss who plays Tom and alongside him we get to see O’shea Jackson play the role of Daveed. Now as the plot will tell you that this is a movie about a black bear that finds and eats co***ne, it is loosely based on the true story of a black bear who ate 34 kg of lost co***ne and died as a result.
This movie is directed by Elizabeth Banks who is known for her work on Pitch perfect 2, now back to the movie. This film in my opinion would have done well in the 80’s, along with the comedic puns that they have introduced to give us some light hearted moments . The comedy in this movie will leave you giggling long after that scene has ended, it is what I would call slapstick humour which I know is not every ones cup of tea. One of the comedic moments made me think back to a comedian's joke, which left me giggling for a while after it had finished.
I do have to say that the camera work is amazing and it really makes you stop and think about what natural beauty there is around us, for example in the forests and the woods. That is until a big black bear comes back on the screen and reminds you of the film that you are currently watching, with a bear who is eating their body weight in co***ne. With that in mind it is a film that is not to be taken seriously in any way. The gore in this movie is creative and will make you cringe at some points, whilst other scenes you can not take your eyes off the screen, the trailer for this movie does not do it justice in my opinion. If i watched the trailer i properly would have not watched the movie, let me know if you thought otherwise. I do also have to let you know that there are two end credit scenes that are a must watch, that will have you leaving the cinema with a little giggle.
The attack scenes are creative and give us a mixture of comedy as well as gore, like I said before some of which will make you cringe. I do love the bear attack scenes as you can see that they have taken the time to look into how they move, as well as their behavioural patterns. As I am a person that finds animals fascinating, I do have to say that I was watching the bear very carefully. To see if i can find any faults but then again I do forget the movie i am seeing, and i am pretty sure that no one has really seen a bear that is high on drugs.
I do feel that one of the characters that was introduced at the start of the movie, was kind of forgotten about until they were needed for the plot's convenience. However that is just my opinion and you are of course free to have your own, and as this is a movie that is not to be taken seriously i will not focus too much on these plot holes as I am sure that you guys will spot many of them. The ending of this movie is fun and has some surprising twists. We get to know more about the characters that we were introduced to. The movie has a great concluding scene which in a way does leave it open for another movie, if they are going to create one what do you think?

Conclusion
An interesting movie that is open but also has been closed in my opinion, it is the kind of film that you do have to leave your brain at the door as it does not make any sense. Let me know what you thought of the movie in the comments below, but please no spoilers.

Film synopsis
Resurrected by a sinister entity, Art the Clown returns to Miles County to terrorize a teenage girl and her younger brother on Halloween night.

Laura Review
Ok so the first movie in my opinion was really good, it was your typical slasher that i think relates more to teens. Now the sequel is just strange and the plot has a lot of plot holes that i didn't think about till now, the whole idea of the link with the main characters dad just doesn't make sense. It is also introduced but doesn't really get explained. If you understand then please let me know in the comments below, maybe i missed something in the movie.
In this film we get introduced to our main characters pretty quickly Sienna who is played by Lauren Lavera who plays our leading lady and she is someone who I would want with me, in this scenario. We also get to meet her brother Jonathon who is played by Elliot Fullan, who is your typical teen boy who has an interest in serial killers. Of course we have Art the clown who is played by David Howard Thornton, our favourite mime who is of course a serial killer. Although in this movie he is almost possessed by a demon or an entity ? If that makes sense to you guys, however the characters still have great comedy and chemistry together.
Now our leading lady is someone that amazes me with her costume design and the work that she puts in, makes me jealous that she has the time, patience and skill to make such a great outfit. Also the younger brother who is interested in serial killers, is like most people i know today, even i am fascinated with them and why they do these deeds. Now talking about the serial killer this movie is more gruesome than the first in my opinion, however we are still treated to the comedic stylings that is Art the clown.
Now there is one character that is played by Felissa Rose that would scare me if i was a student at the school, but don't let that fool you. I have met her in real life and she is the most lovely woman that you could meet. If you get the chance then you should definitely go and see her, and get to know her. I do hope that they one day make a movie about how Art the clown came to be Art the clown, like why does he not talk ? Was he always that way ? Did he have a normal life before this ? These are the questions that I hope will be answered one day. Do you want the answer or do you think there is more mystery behind the character if we don't know about his past.
I don't want to say too much about this movie as I would not want to spoil it for those of you who have not seen it, however as plots go I preferred the first movie because it felt more consistent with a slasher movie. The second movie seemed to be trying to include a sense of the supernatural which for some reason was never really explained. In terms of the kills I do prefer the second movie as they are more on show and you start to feel for the characters that are getting attacked on the screen.
Conclusion
This movie is trying to hint at the supernatural but maybe it needed more explanation in the plot, leaving a lot of plot holes for me. The kills were more gorey and I do have to say that I had to hide behind my hands for some of the movie, but let me know what you thought in the comments below.

Laura Review
This is of course a horror/ thriller movie and one that is one hour and 26 minutes long, it was directed by Damien Leone and stars David Howard Thorton as Art the clown. Who works alongside Jenna Kanell who plays Tara and Samantha Scoffidi who plays Victoria, the actors and actresses that star in this movie work well and show great chemistry on the screen. Art the clown for those of you who don't know is a representation of a mime wearing black and white and does not speak throughout the whole movie, however he does express himself through his facial expressions and his body language. Which brings great comedy to this kind of movie which also lightens the mood of the movie, allowing us to see what he is thinking during the attack scenes. Art the clown is amazing in this movie, along with the acting by Damien who in this film is in his first ever role and I hope that now he has been a part of an amazing movie he will get another great role.
This is not your typical slasher horror film, one where the villain not only uses torture that is physical as well as mental torture. Which is creative and will leave you glued to the screen to find out if the girls will survive and who will be our final girl and that i will not spoil for you, however i do warn you that it is a graphic movie and one that is hard to watch so if you don't like gore then i would not recommend you watching this movie. It is a very misleading film that will have you thinking that you know what is happening when actually it takes a completely different turn, and to be honest with you I was surprised with the way that the plot twists.
Some scenes will have you screaming or shouting at the screen telling the characters what you think they should be doing in your opinion, and what you think they need to do in order to survive. Maybe I have watched too many horror movies and think I know best. Let me know what you think in the comments below will you be able to survive this movie, I can not wait to see what you all say in the comments. I would love to read them. I noticed a lot of subtle nods to other horror movies, for example saw, now the ending of the movie is left open as we all know the sequel is ready to be seen. I hope to watch it soon and let you know what I think of the movie, and I can not wait to see it.

Conclusion
The film is a gore feast in my opinion and is not for the light-hearted, it is a film that I found funny and strange at the same time. Although I would love to watch it again, maybe after I watch the second instalment which I hope to see soon and review it for you guys. Let me know what you think in the comments below.

Film synopsis
The true story of Mamie Till-Mobley's relentless pursuit of justice for her 14-year-old son, Emmett Till, who was brutally lynched in 1955 while visiting his cousins in Mississippi.

Laura Review
This movie is 2 hours and 10 minutes long and has been rated a 12 a, it was directed by Chinonye Chuckwu along with producers such as Whoopi Golderberg from films such as Ghost and sister act. Working with Kieth Beauchamp to help make this movie one that will get people talking, it is a film about a true story of Marnie Till- Mobley and her relentless pursuit to get justice for her 14 year old boy who was brutally murdered in Mississippi in 1955.
Danielle deadwyler plays Marnie who is the mother of Emmett Till who is played by Jalyn Hall, they have great chemistry on screen and really work well together to make this movie such a historic film that in my opinion we all need to watch at least once. What they did to that young boy was brutal and disgusting i do warn you that you do see all of his injuries and it is not nice to see, along with this the movie is a massive tear jerker and i do warn that you watch it with a box of tissues as i found this out the hard way.
I did find myself getting very angry at this movie and at it being a true story, it is one that made me stop and think long after it had finished i even came home and googled more about the history of what had happened to this boy. This is a movie that I do believe is not for a younger audience, however I do feel that it is one that young teens should watch and learn about in school. As the movie ends you get some facts through as the end credits roll and I highly recommend that you stop to read them, some facts that they show I was surprised by and even amazed about.
Even Martin Luther King commented about this historic event saying “ Might be considered one of the most brutal and inhuman crimes of the twentieth century” This alone tells you all you need to know about the movie, i will of course watch this film again and i really highly recommend you give it a try and stick with it. It starts with introducing our main characters, getting to know about their background as well as the time frame that this movie is based on. Allowing us to lose ourselves into the movie, which will let us give the story our full attention.
The filming of this movie is beautiful and they have really thought about which angles they will use to give us the best view, however it does not take away the attention from the story which is the main point that this movie is trying to get across to us all. I do think that this movie will be most talked about and I am sure that will be all over social media and tick tock, which to be honest i do hope that it is. As this is a story that needs to be talked about, it is a powerful reminder of what happened in the past. Even though it is the past it is all our history and one that though it is hard to think about we do need to take time from our busy lives , this movie is deeply thought provoking but i do think you should watch this movie with someone else for emotional support.

Conclusion
This is a movie that is dark in places whilst also being light hearted to give us all some breathing room whilst we are going through the emotions, i really recommend this movie as one that everyone should watch to learn more about our history and this historic event. Please give it a try and let me know what you think in the comments below, what you thought but please no spoilers.

Film synopsis
When Superman and the rest of the league get kidnapped by Lex Luthor, it is up to Super dog Krypto to rescue them. He finds a group of shelter pets with superpowers and convinces them to help him.

Laura Review
This is an adventure/ sci fi movie that is an hour and 45 minutes long, and was directed by Jared Stem on a budget of 90 million dollars. This movie has a great cast from Dwayne Johnson who plays Krypto, Kevin Hart who plays Ace and Keanu Reeves who plays Batman. They all play great characters and their use of their voices to make their characters really come to life, i do have to say that some of the comedy moments are aimed at adults instead of children which is a nice change but one that the children can also laugh at.
I do think that once you have sat and watched this movie once that it is more of a background movie, that is just my opinion and you are free to have your own. In my opinion, once I have seen this film I would happily put it on in the background whilst I am cleaning or writing another review. I do have to say also I know that the scene is censored for children, however I was surprised by a scene that is for adults in the children's movie let me know if you can spot it.
The plot of the movie shows how important animals can be in the family setting, that a dog or any animal can be the best support you can get and I know that from experience myself. Do you have any pets ? Let me know in the comments below what they are and maybe what their names are, if you would be so kind. I would love to hear from you all, and if you have any stories to share that would be lovely too. This movie also has a great soundtrack to it and one that i will have you dancing and maybe even singing along, i was i do have to admit.
The ending of the movie will keep you gripped and makes you hooked to find out what happens next, will they or won't they even though the ending of the movie is of course predictable in some way. It still gives us those unexpected moments that you will be surprised to learn along with the characters of the movie, i will watch this movie again and will show it to my younger niece.
Please give this movie a go even if you are an adult or an adult with a child, I am sure that you will enjoy it and I can not wait to see what you guys think of it. Please let me know what you think of the movie in the comments below, I would love to start a conversation.
Conclusion
This is a creative movie that has great imagination and animation, one that i think any animated movie fan should watch. Especially if like me you are an animal lover, and love movies about superheroes heroes as well that is important.
