The Seeds were an American rock band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1965. The group became known for psychedelic rock music and is considered a prototype for garage punk rock bands.

In 1966, the original garage rock band, The Litter was formed with Tom Murray as the drummer. Two albums were made which included their hit “Action Woman.” 1969 brought changes as Tom and other original members Dan Rinaldi and Jim Kane brought Mark Gallagher and Ray Melina on board to record The Litter’s third album, Emerge, on ABC’s Probe label which achieved gold status and sold over 500,000 copies. The Litter were playing with other heavy hitters like Led Zeppelin, The Who, Cream, Jethro Tull, and many other popular artists of the day.

The Cramps ‎– Weekend On Mars-Club 57, Irving Plaza, New York, NY Aug. 18, 1979-FM Radio Broadcast. Lux Interior, Poison Ivy, and company captured live in their adopted hometown of New York City, shortly before the release of their debut album, ‘Songs The Lord Taught Us’, and at the height of their Rockabilly-Psychosis powers. Ripping thought 13 cuts including some choice covers, this is the best example available of one of the best live bands in Rockabilly-Psychosis history. One more to have in your collection.

In late January and early February of 1982 the Clash played eight shows in Japan. The band was embarking on a month-long tour of the Far East that, as fate would have it, would be the last tour with their classic lineup. When it was over, drummer Topper Headon was kicked out , and the band would never be the same. In this LP we roll back the clock to hear the Clash in the twilight of their heyday. The Clash had refused to play in Japan prior to this tour because of the Japanese custom forbidding audience members to stand up. They agreed to play after a compromise was struck: The fans could stand, but only at their seats.
