Good evening, discerning souls and lovers of the dark. This Halloween, we present MalMix 16: "Chaos Is a Ladder" with . A dark and immersive journey through peak-time and minimal techno, layered with shadowy bass lines, samples from iconic villains, and haunting movie snippets.

This mix introduces Imageye, the latest project from Alex Ivory, MalLabel’s operations and marketing manager. Hailing from Arizona, Alex joined us fresh with inspiration and insight, and we couldn’t be more excited to work together. A DJ and producer with a love for EDM and festival culture sparked back in 2017, Alex has pursued music passionately ever since, believing deeply in its transformative and healing power. In 2021, he founded his own label, , to elevate his local music scene.

Alex brings both skill and heart to MalLabel, infusing his own projects and our team with his deep commitment to sound. His DJ sets reflect his philosophy: music as emotion in sonic form. Expect dark, groovy bass lines sprinkled with samples from dark pop culture, each beat crafted to move both body and mind.

The mix features Imageye's debut track "Inside Joke". The inspiration for Inside Joke came from a powerful moment of realization: life, with all its complexity and layers, seemed to hold a hidden sense of humor, a cosmic inside joke shared by all of us. That insight felt like uncovering a secret, a profound understanding that life’s ups and downs were all part of a bigger, playful design.
