Altus TV is an on-line internet TV channel that is specifically for the folks in Altus, Duke, Navajo and all of Jackson County. This means that we have the ability to live-stream various events from Jackson County including sports, school programs, parades, special community events, etc. In other words, whatever happens in Jackson County can be shown live and in color over the Internet. ve to do is type in the Internet address and enjoy whatever is on live or archived - and watch it anytime, anywhere. While it costs you nothing to watch, it will be advertiser supported. While we won’t be streaming live 24/7, most of the programs which were shown live, will be archived so that you can view them at any time. Those that won’t be archived are football and basketball games as that would give opposing coaches an unfair advantage of watching the Hollis Tigers in action numerous times. We want this to be about you. So, if you have something happening that you think the folks might like to see, just contact us and we’ll see what we can do. It has to be of general interest to the community and family friendly. Another exciting aspect of this venture is that in addition to Altus TV we are also giving a second channel to the churches in the area. If they desire, they can video their services and upload them to a site named Altus Services which will allow the homebound who have Internet the opportunity to see their home church anytime they desire. This site is offered free to any church in Jackson County. If your church is interested please call us and we will tell you how it is done. Included with the church channel aspect is the ability for any Jackson County Funeral Home to be able to live stream funerals so that family and friends who are unable to attend services will be able to see the service live.
