Most of our stories start in the courtroom. Aced magazine sat down with me to discuss the inspiration behind Tulsa. During the interview, I shared about a trial I was preparing for, where I represented a family that had experienced a devastating tragedy. One of the family members shared how their daughter, who used to love going dancing with her father, could only dance for ten minutes before having to leave due to the trauma they had experienced. This stuck with me and was part of the spark that ignited the creation of the film.
