THIS HAS BECOME AN EPIDEMIC IN OUR VERMONT!

Six puppies were abandoned two days ago, in Brookfield. They were in very rough shape with one requiring round the clock medical care. These puppies are now safe with Long Trail Canine Rescue. Also, a huge thank you to Randolph Regional Veterinary Hospital, doctor and staff for the immediate response and emergent care, interrupting hours of their scheduled day.

This is the second group of puppies dumped this week and it’s happening everywhere. Dogs are being abandoned, surrendered and discarded in VT at an unsustainable rate.

PLEASE! spay and neuter your animals!! There are many low cost clinics available in Vermont.

We need your help now more than ever. We are trying to save as many as we can, but we can’t do it alone. Foster or volunteer for your local rescue!

We recieved a call on an Emaciated dog by police this weekend.
We went to the address and found this guy that was outside no water no shelter needing our help.
We pulled the dog and put him in van to take to vets.
We were told the dog we heard barking in the house was in simular condition so police were called.
The landlord was there so the claremont police was able to call tenant to talk to them.
