An local reggae DJ "Empress Start a Fyah" has been playing

all the old but gold reggae songs up to the latest culture tracks also playing many other genre of music (Dancehall Hip Hop Afro Beat Trap Old Skool Today Hits Ect......) every time she plays, she gives it her all and that's what keeps people talking about the music the next day after.

Born in Canada, ,Guyanese nationality. Empress was always attracted to the music and

music was something that she could always relate to and escape to

when she needed space. Growing up as a child she was introduced

to the "reggae music" by her father. She was interested into the upbeat

sounds, the genre's of hip-hop, rap, and reggae. Her childhood was a very musical

one.

Empress is welcoming everyone to enjoy this music with her, because reggae isn't made only for

rasta people, it's for everyone to fulljoy and feel it.

As of 3 ½ year’s, Empress has been playing gigs at Rainbow Palace in Kensington Market Downtown Areas, As she continues her fiery trails leads her to ,Thymeless Reggae Bar ,The Cage, Crawford Upstairs ,Harlem Underground, Tapps Bar Grill, The Round, Rivoli, The Boxing Loft,The Velvet Underground, Boat Cruises Events, Kingdom Nubia Radio ,Radio Regent, Zionhighness Radio in New York City, just to metion a few places Empress Has Been.

Journey To the Big Apple, New York City, Brooklyn, a Gig for a Big Earth Day Bash Show and Dance!!! I was so excited to attend this show. My talent and vibes I give thanks to almighty for this opportunity.

Empress has met up with Richie Spice, Jesse Royal, Protoje, I-Octane, Exco-Levi just to mention a few artist and made dub-plates with them to spice up her music.

Many artists in Toronto have been asking her to collaborate with them because everyone catches the

vibes that Empress promotes.. Great vibes she’s been putting out there to world.
