Oh, friends! Hello! How are you?!
I am alive and very well and I am so sorry for disappearing on you all for so long. Life is chaos, you know, and this is the first I've felt up to checking in and letting you all know I am so grateful for you all and I miss hanging out with you. Thanks so much for all the kind inquiries into my wellbeing. I am good! Contrary to how things were when I started the show I am now working full time and am back in school too getting my Master's of Teaching in special education. I'm loving working with kids. My days feel very meaningful. High schoolers are hilarious. At some point I might pop back in to record an episode but I can't predict if or when that will happen. This is a different season of my life and I'm just seeing where it goes. I just want to say thank you thank you thank you to every one of you who ever listened to my show or recommended it to a friend or came to a talk. Y'all are the coolest fans ever and I am so grateful for every one of you. I am posting a link in the comments for a cause that is very near and dear to my heart. If you are in a position to help at all that would be awesome. If not, it's ok, I understand. I'm just glad you're here.

Y'ALL. I am tired!
So I'm taking a tiny little break this week and next to hang out with my family and sleep.

If you don't know Vile Virginia is completely run by one person, me. I research, write the script, host the show, mix it, run the social and website, and put it on the server all by my lonesome. I also have a full time job and am a single mom to three kids of varying sizes. Life is wild and fun and crazy and exhausting!

This little podcast is something I do to help me feel whole. It's work but it's also creating and hopefully giving people a little bit of an escape. And I just want to thank everybody who spends their precious free time listening to me talk about crime. I am so grateful to have so many dedicated fans. It fills me up, it really does.
