Last year, the inaugural Art Bike Festival successfully brought together over 2,000 Houstonians of all ages to celebrate art and Houston’s parks and trails. If you didn’t get to participate last year, here is everything you need to know:

We visited the Katy location, and the restaurant is spacious and beautifully decorated. Not to mention, the service is personal and genuine. We also love the laid-back atmosphere with a touch of sophistication, so you can make your dining experience as fancy or casual as you'd like. Sunday brunch or dinner with the family here is a must!

There is something for everyone on the menu, whether you’re craving a rich seafood platter or a juicy burger. Our favorite dishes include the Signature Jumbo Lump Crab Cake, Parmesan Fried Asparagus, Janice’s Meatloaf, Truffle Stuffed Chicken, Carrot Cake, and Butter Cake.

Make sure to pair it with your favorite bourbon or beer! We personally enjoyed The Smoking Gun Old Fashioned and Sinatra!

NEW AUTHENTIC MEXICAN RESTAURANT 🌮🍳 B AM Cocina is the new sister concept of TJ Birria y mas, an ever-so-popular birria taco joint, and they’re now open in Stafford! While you’ll find TJ’s signature birria here, their assortment of breakfast and brunch items will have you coming back for seconds and possibly thirds.

We loved their classic breakfast dishes like Chilaquiles Divorciados Cecinas, Chilaquiles de Birria, and Breakfast Tacos, but the standouts were definitely their more unique items like the Co**ha de Desayuno, Mini Pancakes, and Co**ha French Toast. And while you’re at it, go ahead and grab their lunch items — Chicken Street Tacos, Gordita de Birria, or Consome de Birria — with Churros for dessert.

Karne Steakhouse is an authentic Korean steakhouse with Texas and American steakhouse influences. Think delicious Korean cuisine with an emphasis on elevated service, ambience, and presentation. On the menu, you'll find many traditional dishes as well as premium offerings like oysters and caviar.

We tried the Krudo, Kured Belly, Crispy Tteok, Black Sesame K.F.C., Wagyu Kimchi Fried Rice, Karnivore Platter (which includes all the house-made sides, egg souffle, stew, and dipping sauces), Black Sesame Creme Brûlée, and Flourless Chocolate Torte, all of which were top notch. Order this exact spread along with the El Dorado Milk Punch cocktail, and you'll surely leave full and satisfied.

The Lancaster Hotel Afternoon Tea is their version of the British tradition and features a two-hour seating with a three course menu composed of:

We're still working on putting together a full recap post, but in the meantime, we wanted to share some of our top ✨ CRUISE TIPS ✨ now that we've spent 7 days aboard the Ruby Princess.

📲 Before embarkation day, download the MedallionClass App by Princess Cruises. It's essential for onboarding, navigating the ship, ordering room service, and lots more.
✅ Make sure you are Green Lane Ready in the app ahead of your departure day to ensure onboarding is quick and seamless.

HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE LAST FEW DAYS ON PRINCESS CRUISES 🛳 Earlier this week, we embarked on Princess Cruises Ruby Princess to the Western Caribbeans out of Galveston, and we couldn't wait to share some of our favorite scenes from the last few days onboard and our first port day in Roatan, Honduras!

It’s been a while since our last cruise, and has already made a lasting impression. From the endless food options and exciting entertainment to the helpful staff and advanced tech with the MedallionClass experience, our time onboard has been flawless so far. 💕

Here’s how we spent the first half of our cruise:
🛳️ Exploring all of the nooks and crannies of the Ruby Princess
💃 Dancing at the Sail Away Party on the Lido Deck

NEW DIM SUM AND CHINESE RESTAURANT IN MIDTOWN + HOW TO GET A FREE SIZZLING PLATTER 🥟We may have found our favorite dim sum restaurant in the loop! Taste of Mulan opened not too long ago, serving up both dim sum and classic Chinese cuisine. They've been known for their inventive Cantonese-style dim sum dishes (served all day), but they recently launched new sizzling platters that y'all have to try as well. 🔥

NEW INTIMATE OMAKASE EXPERIENCE 🍣 Welcome to oheyabyuchi, the latest concept by the team behind Uchi Houston! Oheya is tucked away right behind Uchi in Montrose and is an intimate room with sushi-bar only seating for 12, featuring a 15-course omakase. The menu is updated monthly in collaboration with a guest chef from other Uchi locations.

Our menu included an impressive lineup of creative and thoughtful dishes. We had a tough time deciding which course was our favorite because everything was absolutely outstanding. 12/10 would recommend!

While they're taking limited walk-ins, we recommend reserving a seat online. They're offering a 6pm and 8:30pm seating daily.
