The BBC have removed Hatsune Miku from their Olympics TV title music. The UK's premier broadcaster commissioned Kenji Kawai to produce it, and the composer and Hatsune Miku proudly promoted the result - but it has been changed (see vid). The BBC were asked about it but have not responded.
American-born Alex Christine, who was a contestant on Produce 48, the show forming IZ*ONE, has featured on a BBC program about K-pop - she is being promoted as AleXa. Although about K-pop, the programme's look at idol culture may interest J-pop fans. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m0009m8g
