Last night on our Instagram Live wine tasting we had the opportunity to sample this delicious blend! William, our experienced sommelier at Vines Wine Merchants, walked us through some of the basics of blends, including when the grapes are blended (before or after fermentation?)

This week's featured wine on our Season Three Wine List is a beautiful champagne chosen by William of Vines Wine Merchants in Riverbend.

What is the difference between sparkling wine and champagne? William explains that Champagne is a region of France and ONLY bottles of sparkling wine produced here can be properly labelled champagne. It also tends to come at a higher price point... which is why it's the perfect pairing for this week's episode about elevating your rates in your business!

What does sustainability mean in business?

Well, for starters, sustainable businesses charge what they're worth!

Do you revisit your rates, prices, or packages each year? If not, let us convince you why you should do this EVERY. SINGLE. YEAR.

It doesn't mean arbitrarily raising your rates. It's all about providing more well-rounded services to your clients or delivering on new products.

Going back to Episode 2 of this season, Matthew Birch of Birch Accounting & Tax Services mentioned that we have "the right and responsibility to continue to serve our clients well." We believe in this whole-heartedly and can't wait to share our insights into rates, pricing, and packages with you as we continue to travel down the entrepreneurial journey in Season Three!

We recently had the opportunity to attend a session put on by The Breakthrough Hub with author Brian P. Moran, author of The 12 Week Year. As people who thrive on planning and creativity but struggle with ex*****on, this has been a serious game-changer!

The greatest takeaway so far has been creating a sense of urgency. Here's a takeaway question: what if you created a deadline that was so close that you had NO CHOICE but to push forward on your goals each and every day?

Like we said... game-changer!!
