I uprooted my life, sold my car, let go of my apartment and all of my possessions and ventured off into the unknown in search for love in Paris!

I’ve decided that it was crazier to leave my love life up to chance staying in a place that was familiar but not completely fulfilled and so I’m taking (love) matters into my own hands and have ventured off to the love capital of the world.

Yes this is crazy, and yes it was VERY scary. But after 13 years in LA and several relationships and zero eligible prospects and the desire to live in a metropolitan city where I can immerse in a melting pot and learn a new language, Paris was a no-brainer choice when researching for months on where it made sense to uproot my life.

I’ll be documenting every step of this journey moving my life over to Europe.

Follow along as I explore this new chapter and see if I can create my own love story in a completely new country.

This is Ubuntu a new plant-based fine-dining experience inspired by West-African ingredients created by Chef Shenarri Greens that I got the chance to dine at this past week! Nestled in the heart of Melrose Avenue the dishes here all have inspirations from Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal and West Africa with plant-based ingredients that make for a really unique flavoring experience.

August is Black Business Month and I was so happy to have made it in during their first few opening weeks. Highly recommended for another fun LA experience to add to your list of things to do and to get the opportunity to try West African food in a fine dining experience which is something I’ve never seen in LA!

I’m going to need Vacation Inc SPF these summer months ahead because it’s set to be no less than 100 degrees and sunny beginning this weekend and throughout every day this summer and I’m here for it!

Its too bad you can’t smell through the screen this SPF smells like summer in a bottle. It smells like banana and coconut with that iconic SPF smell from our childhood.

Bring on the heat, bikinis, pool, sun and margaritas! Who’s just as excited for the summer?! 🧴👙☀️

Palm Springs staycation has begun! They’re saying June gloom could go into Fogust August y’all!! Absolutely NOT! I’m escaping to this paradise in the LA backyard for some weeks to get some much needed Vitamin D and Paradise water 😜💦🌴

5 Life Hacks I Learned After Sleeping in My Car for 12 Months

It’s taken me a bit to actually share this story with the world but over the course of about 6-7 years when I first moved to LA 12 years ago I resorted (unbeknownst to family or friends) to sleeping in my car for a total of 12 months going up and down West Hollywood and parts of LA to find temporary gym memberships to shower before and after work while I saved up enough money to get into my first apartment and subsequent down spirals.

The opening footage was taken in 2020 sitting in that car after selling that car and purchasing my dream car. Several, several years had passed after I’d been on my feet for some years, worked for several large conglomerates and had made the decision to sell my car and finally take ownership of my current dream car. By that point the sentimental value that my brought to me was unmatched but the energy that car held didn’t match the new chapter I was in and where I continue to go and the visions I have for my life all stacked up on my visions boards.

Last night Rainn Wilson hosted an event dedicated to advancing social justice and advocating for reform in support of James Gibson and The Clara and James Gibson Foundation.

29 years ago, James was tortured, beaten, and placed in maximum security prison for a double homicide that not only did he NOT do but the murderer was known and still never convicted and died while another man, James, paid the price.

James and his mother Clara, relentlessly worked to get him out of prison and her love, teachings, and spirit pushed him to read and never stop pursuing his innocence. Clara has since passed away, may her soul rest in peace, but while in prison James sought out law books in the prison library and studied law and started filing his own motions from prison, reaching out to attorneys, and asking for their help with his case. It’s because of folks like Andrew Stroth and several other amazing people who work tirelessly to help those wrongly convicted that James was finally exonerated.

The story touched Steve Sarowitz, billionaire and CoFounder of Wayfarer Studios who then wanted to work with Rainn on putting together yesterday’s event to raise funds for the Clara and James Gibson Foundation who are creating a digitized archive of stories/pictures of people who are still wrongfully convicted and in prison to this day.

Please, check out James’s story and help make a donation whatever you feel compelled to donate to help this digital archive come to life. The hope is for this archive to bring the stories of those wrongfully convicted to the surface for people to understand their stories and forge a path for their exonerations as well. And with just 30 minutes left on the clock the 2022 season is on the BOOKS!!! I promised to romanticize life this year and record as much as possible after having been couped up for almost two years!

I’m so deeply grateful for this past year and SO excited for 2023 and seeing what more exciting adventures I’ll get into!! I predict a new love, an unforeseeable new job direction, continued great health and wealth and more travel adventures! Here’s to romanticizing life! Cheers everyone!! 🥂✨
