Just took delivery of this beautiful Baldwin Grand piano! We will finally be able to offer wonderful sounding acoustic piano recordings. For those who care it’s a 1969 6’3” Baldwin model L. Obviously, likes it.

I had an awesome week of very satisfying sessions with and
I did however have to pull the paddle out 2 times-once when wouldn’t listen and once when someone in the Manipulators mentioned adding “stomps and claps”. I think it was a joke, but you can’t be too careful.

This was our awesome setup for this past weekend. It was an old Marshall Super Lead 100 (thx ) into an ampeg v9, Sunn Solaris combo and a Matchless Cheiftan (thx ) into a Marshall cab with 25 watt greenbacks. Needless to say it sounded huge, but the real hero’s were these 2 oddball that were given to me by
Neither one reproduced a sound by themselves that would be considered “good”, but in the mix of microphones they filled just the right space, adding a crazy crunchy top end. The models are d190 and d1000. They’re pretty cool looking mics too. We used the same setup for bass as well as guitar.

These shows all have awesome bands and are going to be full of friends and fun. I hope to see some of you there. What a way to end the year.

20 years ago there was a hurricane. 2 days later, without power, a tree fallen across the driveway and in extreme heat, was our wedding. This is us 20 years ago and today, (also our collapsed cake from the heat and the resulting repairs). Rikki said it better, but I’m so happy to be your partner can’t wait for the next 20 and beyond. I love you.

New record, You Know How I Get. This was a pandemic record. We recorded some of this together as a band, some individually at home, sending files around. We even did a song where Mike came into the studio, but we stayed separated by the studio glass. Mike is special person and this is a special record. I played drums and a bunch of keys on this.
