Kerala Style Fish Peera
Traditional kerala style fish peera 💚💚💚
Ingredients:
Fish(Small sardines)cleaned 12-15
5 Kukum star Kudampuli washed and soaked in warm water
Water small amount just enough to cook
8-10 Small onions/shallots
2”piece Ginger
2 Garlic cloves
Fenugreek powder-1/4 tsp
6 kanthari/small spicy green chilies(increase if you like spicier)
½ tsp Turmeric powder
Curry leaves Plenty
1 cup Grated Coconut
1 tbsp Coconut oil
Salt to taste
Method:
Mix the fish with crushed,small onions, ginger, garlic, green chillies, turmeric powder, salt, curry leaves and freshly grated coconut.
Add kudampuli to the mixture.
Add water, just enough to cook .
Pour coconut oil on top once the fish is cooked.Ready to serve💚
Use an earthern pot to get the Kerala traditional taste and smell 💚💛
