“Can People Feel God In Your Heart?”

Are you allowing the light of God to shine through your heart, or are you holding onto things that block His presence? Sometimes, our own struggles, doubts, and fears create barriers that prevent others from experiencing God’s love and grace through us.

Let go of anything that hinders your connection with God and inhibits His presence from radiating through you. Surrender your worries, insecurities, and burdens, and invite His spirit to dwell within you fully.

When you release what’s holding you back, you become a vessel for God’s love and compassion. Let His light illuminate your heart and soul, so others may feel His presence and experience His transformative power through you.

”So above all, guard the affections of your heart, for they affect all that you are. Pay attention to the welfare of your innermost being, for from there flows the wellspring of life.“ Proverbs‬ ‭4‬:‭23‬ ‭TPT‬‬

”Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully. [Ps. 55:22.]“
1 Peter‬ ‭5‬:‭7‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

𝘙𝘦𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘵 (𝘖𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘵 9/7/20)

Worship was going on throughout the room. Praises were being lifted. Flags were being waved and for a time, I danced. But as I danced, I was being called to the floor. (John 12:32) What that means is that internally there was a deep longing to get on the floor. It was not my natural thought to just go lay down in a room full of people. It was the Spirit inviting to go to another place of intimacy with Him. (Revelation 22:17) This was not new for me and I have learned to listen to His voice and not allow the thoughts and opinions of people keep me from allowing the Lord to encounter me in whatever way He chooses. Nobody else was on the floor laying down and most of the floor was taken by people standing. I searched until I could find the perfect spot to get away and be with my Lord. And while I may have been prostrate at one time or another during my time on the floor, eventually I was on my back. My hands extended towards Him. I was open to receive His touch. I was open to His fiery burning love. (Song of Songs 8:6) My eyes were gazing into the eyes of my Beloved as He looked into mine.

My body was trembling and shaking within from this love and I began to cry out “Yes!” followed by “I do.” (Jeremiah 29:9) There was weeping, but also laughter. (Psalm 16:11) It was the sadness within me surrendering to hope. It was as if I had just renewed my wedding vows. I reaffirmed my commitment. I will go where you lead me, I will do what you do, and speak what you say. I am staying with you on this journey. I will not deviate. I will not lose hope. I will keep my eyes on you. I do take you to be my husband. These words may sound like someone who walked around without hope and in a depressed state of mind. They may even sound like someone who questioned their faith and was tempted to turn from God. I assure you that this is not the case. What this was, was the Spirit revealing hidden things from within me and inviting me to another place with Him. This was me being vulnerable saying search me O Lord and remove anything from within me that would hinder my love from you. (Psalm 139:23) This was me being humble and putting aside my knowledge and understanding, and accepting His Spirit to lead me to all truth and righteousness. (Proverbs 3:5, Psalm 23:3, John 16:13) This was me encountering my God. (James 4:8)

God wants to encounter you. He wants to do what only He can do. He wants to overwhelm you with His burning love. His love is perfect and takes away our fears. All we have to do is say yes and follow through with the next step. What is God leading you to do? Where is leading you to go? Follow your yes with the next step. He will meet you there. How do you know what your hearing is correct? My answer would be a question. How do you know that what your hearing is not correct? You will not know until you take that step. All of my encounters were followed by my response to His invitation. Faith without works is dead. (James 2:17) When I laid my life down at the altar and came up as a new person, it was my faith in action that responded to what I believed to be God’s voice telling me to get on my knees. When I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, it was my faith in action that opened my mouth because I believed there was something I was supposed to say. When I danced for the first time in public, it was my faith in action that took that first step to dance although I didn’t know how. I can go on and on, but I think you get the point. Take that step of faith and let God encounter you with His Spirt. Let Him lavish His love on you!

I’m on the other side and it took everything to crossover.

𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗦𝗲𝗽 𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟬
Yesterday we were in transit from Amarillo back to our home in Humble, Texas. It was about a 10 hour road trip including the rest stops in between. During our drive home, we found ourselves on a different route than the one that we took on the way. The first words I heard were “I am putting you on a different path to get you to your destination”. Let me explain a little about what I mean when I refer to hearing from the Lord. No, I didn’t hear the audible voice of God. God speaks to me through my thoughts. I see things, hear things and feel things and I listen to what He is saying to me through my thoughts. I do this by asking God what is He saying to me, or showing me and wait for His response. (John 16:13-15) As I heard those words, I felt something within my spirit that was comforting and encouraging. It was like my spirit was receiving an answer to something it longed for. As we continued driving, we began to see lots of green which was unexpected because we were in a desert area. There was lots of green grass, trees, vegetation, horses, and cattle. We even saw a stream of water. The next words that I heard were “I’m taking you out of a dry and weary land to a place full of life and abundance where my Spirit flows.” Again, as my spirit heard these words it was as if it was receiving an answer to something it longed for and my eyes began to tear up. I knew God had heard my prayers and He was answering them. (Jeremiah 33:3)
What is amazing about this is that I didn’t even know what I had been praying for! You see at the end of 2019 I was physically, emotionally, and spiritually exhausted. While I may have been able to explain some of what was going on, I could not give a full explanation of what it was. I went on a fast and spent time in my prayer closet (my quiet place) on my face. There were times where I prayed for specific things I knew I needed but then I would pray in my prayer language for things I didn’t know I needed. During those times, I would find myself wailing as I laid hands on myself. I didn’t understand why I was so sad but I didn’t stop myself from crying so deeply. I just let it out. This happened over and over again. Although my fast ended, I still continued going to my prayer closet (my quiet place) to pray and seek the face of God. I trusted that His Spirit that is in me was making intercession for me. (Romans 8:26)
Now 9 months later, I have gained understanding and revelation of what my spirit was longing for. I have felt unsatisfied, disconnected, out of place, uncomfortable, etc, the list could go on and on. I didn’t understand why but have kept seeking wisdom from God. (James 1:5) I am connected to an amazing home church, serving others, and using my natural and spiritual gifts for the kingdom of God. So, at first glance these all seem so negative and can bring guilt or shame to someone that is a Christian and should be living an “abundant life” BUT that is a wrong perception. For example, when someone has a physical ailment, they may feel uncomfortable, unsettled, or have pain. These are all just symptoms. It is not who they are. It only reveals something is going on with their body. It is the same with our spirit.
In July 2018 the Lord told me I was stepping into my promised land and I began a new journey. We went from providing a “transitional home” to those in need to renovating the upstairs as a place for creativity, teaching and dancing. I thought I had “transitioned.” Now I see that, that was just a step in the new direction I was going. Since I stepped into this new direction, I have had to face many giants in my life. It has been hard and challenging, but beautiful. It’s been new and exciting, yet scary all at once.
With all of this happening, you would think I would be ”feeling” satisfied being in the will of God. Instead, what I have discovered is that I have been in transition. I have been in the “in between” place. It’s like traveling in my car from my house to my new destination. I’ve been in a moving car and have everything I need with me to take care of myself and my family, and do what we need, but nowhere to unpack and function to my full capacity. I have had to pull out what was needed and put it away again until it’s needed again. The car ride is fun at first, but after long hours of sitting in one spot limited on the movement and extension of your body, you can become very uncomfortable and unsatisfied. Although you can take rest stops on the journey you can’t get fully unpacked and settled in. You get temporary relief to keep you going until you can reach your destination.
If this resonates with you, be encouraged. You are in transition. God’s plans for you are good. (Jeremiah 29:11-13) Don’t give up or give into lies of the enemy. (Philippians 3:14) Keep driving, but be sure to stop and rest. Get out of the car, extend your legs, stretch, take a deep breath, eat and drink something, and use the restroom. What do I mean? Keep moving. Use what you have where you can, relax, appreciate what and who is around you, read the Word of God, drink in His Spirit and relieve yourself of whatever is old or bad for you. If you have felt shame or guilt, break the agreement of those lies and physically dust your shoulders off. Open your mouth and give God praise for the journey and provision along the way.
If you gave up, get back in the car. It’s not too late. Ask for forgiveness, receive it and pick up where you left off. God is faithful to meet you where you are and get you back on the path to your destination. (1 John 1:9)
“The land you are entering to take up ownership isn’t like Egypt, the land you left, where you had to plant your own seed and water it yourselves as in a vegetable garden. But the land you are about to cross the river and take for your own is a land of mountains and valleys; it drinks water that rains from the sky. It’s a land that GOD, your God, personally tends—he’s the gardener—he alone keeps his eye on it all year long.” ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭11:10-12‬ ‭MSG‬‬

📣📣REPOST, Original posted 1-17-2020

Take time to enjoy your spouse. Be spontaneous. Create your own dance floor. 👫🏻❤️🔥

I love my husband and I love our relationship. We don’t always agree and sometimes he agitates me, but he’s mine and I know the feelings are mutual👀😬😆 He’s my life partner. He’s my best friend and my biggest fan. He speaks life into me and helps me become all that I am called to be.

I haven’t always felt that way. In fact, I used to keep secrets from him and he had lots from me. But one day we had the opportunity to “let go” and tell it all. It all happened as we pressed into the Lord in our desire to be closer to Him. To our surprise we had the key 🔑. Our secrets kept us bound. Exposure brought us closer. No more secrets. No false expectations. No more pretending. Heaviness gone. Guilt gone. Fear gone. Everything that could have destroyed our marriage was out in the open. We could have walked away but instead love happened. Forgiveness happened. Chains broken ⛓

What really happened? We made ourselves vulnerable and put our trust in God rather than ourselves. That day God became Lord of our marriage. It was the scariest but most liberating thing that could have ever happened to our marriage. We stopped building our marriage on our ways and started building it according to His ways. We built it on the rock.

“Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it."
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7:24-27‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Such a powerful time of ministry this time last year. I’m grateful to have been able to minister with my son before he went home to Jesus. This was just after my youngest son went home to the Lord. Now they are dancing in eternity together.

It’s truly an honor and blessing to worship along side of these mighty worshippers. Thankful to Victory School of Supernatural Ministry - VSSM for always giving us the opportunity to pour out our hearts to Daddy God ❤️‍🔥

Today I am thankful that I have hope. There is hope in the things I cannot see and in the things I do not understand. Because of hope, I have joy in the midst of my circumstances. Hope keeps my heart at peace. Hope keeps me moving forward.

I am thankful because I know what it’s like not to have hope. Without hope, there was only sadness and no desire to live. When hope came alive in me, my heart believed in a greater future and I grew stronger and I started living my life on purpose. So today, I choose to hold onto hope.

Today my husband started back at work in the office part-time. I really have loved having him work from home with me the past year and half. Our lives have gone through so much this past year and a half and God used this time to bring us even closer and stronger together. Today I choose to be thankful for God’s provision during my time of need of healing. In the beginning it was physical healing, followed by my heart healing of the passing of both of our sons. Some say you only need God. I don’t believe that to be true. If it were true, God would not have made us the body to Jesus, who is our head. A body is interdependent on each part to function to it’s full potential. When something is missing or not functioning properly, the entire body suffers. Although the body is still able to get done what needs to be done, it takes more effort and strength to get it done.

In a marriage, we become one. I am thankful for my husband’s strengths. I am thankful for the love he not only tells me constantly daily but also the love he shows and gives me through his actions in caring and providing for me. I am thankful for his daily dose of jokes that make me smile and laugh everyday. I am also thankful for his gift of problem solving and ability to see to how to make things better. I am thankful for his encouragement and support. I am thankful for his compassion and comfort. BUT I am mostly thankful for his love and honor for God because this is what everything else is built on.
