It's been a minute since I posted on this page. Last time was announcing that we were having a boy. Well, on April 6th at 2:40am Christopher-Michael made his grand entrance into the world at 16 days over due. He weighed in at 8 lbs 5 oz and was 22 inches long. His head was asynclitic (the left side of his head was presenting first) instead of being head down, so it was a very hard labor. But we did it and after over 2.5 his of pushing he made it earth side safely, thank You Jesus! I couldn't have done it without my amazing midwife, husband and mom encouraging me throughout the labor. Even my sweet 8 year old daughter, Hanna, helped me lift my head to push when i was too exhausted to even hold my head up. I'm so blessed. We are all so in love with him.

Our purpose is to glorify God. To show forth His majesty. But because He gives us the freedom to choose, people often reject that purpose. Sometimes it's because we just don't want to. Sometimes we get so comfortable with our lives, things are good and we dont see the need for a savior. Or sometimes life gets hard and we think He's forgotten us and forget everything He's brought us through.

Look at the mountains, a sunset, a beach sunrise, or a rainbow after the storm...all around us His creation displays His majesty. You cannot see it all and not be in awe. Creation is doing exactly what it was created to do. That's what the scripture speaks of. If we refuse to praise God, nature (the rocks) will cry out in praise.

I have made up my mind that if Jesus never did anything else for me in my time on this earth, I will still give Him glory. I have been through too much. I have experienced His goodness so much throughout my life. I have felt His peace cover me in the hardest times. I will never stop giving Him glory.

Don't mistake pain for Him not caring, instead take that as an opportunity to walk in faith. Don't mistake his silence for indifference or that's he's abandoned you. He's always with you. Get into His word. Find comfort and strength in it.

Happy International Women's Day... my greatest accomplishment as a woman are these 4 ladies. My hope for them as they grow is that they will be fierce, loving, kind, original, compassionate, selfless, courageous, and confident women of God.

I pray they will not look to others for their worth, but that they would know that they mean everything to Jesus and His opinion is all they need to worry about.

I pray that they will lead with conviction and not follow others for approval.

I pray that their tenacity will change the world. That they would desire to be women like Esther, Ruth, Rahab, Mary, Hannah, and Elizabeth. Women of faith. Not perfect, but women who trusted in God even in hardest times. Even when the circumstances looked unbearable. Women who did not let the opinions of others stop them from accomplishing great things for the Lord.

May you walk in the faith of the Lord all your days my precious daughters. Be the kind of women other women want to be. Love others, show mercy, be strong, and know that I love you!

I praise God for this sweet girl of mine. She's not perfect by any means, but she's sensitive. She asked me if she could wash my feet after learning about Jesus waking the feet of his disciples. I love you sweet girl.

My heart could burst. She's into trouble about 90 or more % of the time, but moments like these give me hope that we're doing something right.
