Danny G & Jonathan Manuel first met on the dance floor in 2013.
Their common musical interest sparked friendship and a collaborative venture with the core principle of connecting people, sharing good music, and building culture.
Over the years they have held down DJ residencies, organized events, and invited world-renowned artists to turn people on and expose them to new talent.
Their club sets blend dance floor weapons and infectious grooves & melodies that often draw on deep house, latin, afro, and indie influences.
Danny G & Jonathan Manuel will be performing a live extended DJ set on Saturday night at Forest Fusion. Expect a wide range of energy and emotions.

Arulu is a multimedia artist whose work resounds with deep reverence for the body as a portal for experience. From ceramic sculpture, to tattooing, to watercolour, to clothing design, to masks, & to song and dance, Arulu weaves narratives centered around the cultivation of relationship between humans, the natural world, & the realms of spirit. She brings her offerings to Forest Fusion as a workshop in which participants are invited into an intimate space of prayerful, playful connection with earth and each other, to create vibrant body altars using natural clay paints and elements collected from the forest. In this way we will honor and celebrate our body’s as extentions of the earth through ritualized artistic adornment.

Alexander “Bush Ninja” Howe is a passionate practical herbalist and mycophile, global adventurer, storyteller, and flamboyant fire performer. He has been adventuring South(ern) Africa for much of the past decade. On his journey he was gifted the moniker Bush Ninja, for his passion for teaching earthskills while having many wild African experiences. All the while honing a number of skills and crafts, including practical herbalism, making artisanal salve, teaching South African mysticism and traditional healing techniques, and fire dancing/flow arts including a unique expression of burning fire flowers 🌹🔥
He’s delighted to be sharing these passions with you as well as offering a special spoken word secret set performance of Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax! So, come join him in a talk/playshop, follow on the socials, or sit down on the medicine blanket to gain better access to your natural human heritage of health and wellness!

My name is Makeda Ruth Meeks and I am a Gainesville Florida based educator and dialogue facilitator with an interest in woman's issues, racial and social justice. I have a Master of Education with a social justice focus from the University Utah where I studied issues in social justice education and its impact on students and professionals of color. During my higher education, I collaborated with the Women's Resource Center to gain feminist multicultural training to support women of color on a predominately white college campus and first generation college student with the Black Butterfly's and Bennion Center for Service Learning. I also had the pleasure of working with the Utah Pride Center and LGBT Resource Center to establish and maintain access to health care for the LGBTQIA community.
I am a mother, educator, dialog facilitator, poet, author and lover of humanity and all that connects living things. I am committed to helping you through difficult and necessary conversations to improve individual lives and the health of your organization.
I have been engaged in difficult dialogues for well over two decades, involving race, gender, sexual orientation and matters of political and social justice. Talking with like minded people and education the open minded about the lived experiences of others is my passion. I am committed to supporting you to self-improve. I was raised in the Latter Day Saint Community and was one of the few black congregants. The music of this faith is what resonated for me the most.
I am now a seeker of community, I will help you merge what you have been taught with what you have experienced and help you find your path

Eric Lewis is a permaculturist, forager and all around plant lover who has dedicated his life to deepening the relationship between people and plants. He is an educator, gardener, and a partner in Plant Path nursery, a Frederick, Md-area permaculture plant nursery with a strong focus on fruit and nut trees. Inspired by the wise words of world-renowned ethnobotanist Frank Cook, Eric is continually encouraging everyone to respect the plants as people and eat something wild every day.
