It seems the govt of Mexico is playing a little game you might call "hold and release." They're halting northbound migrants in southern Mexico until their numbers reach a critical mass, then they're releasing thousands onto hundreds of buses that take different routes north to the U.S. It's a tactic borrowed from the cartels called "ant operations." Each bus route is like a separate ant trail to some point on the border. And that's not counting the got-aways. Plus there's this: some sectors are noticing quite a few nationalities far removed from Latin America. Just last week, Del Rio agents intercepted illegal border-crossers from Eritrea, Lebanon, Syria, and Tajikistan. Over 50 nationalities represented in October alone. It looks like the whole world is coming to Texas and the U.S.
