It seems the govt of Mexico is playing a little game you might call "hold and release." They're halting northbound migrants in southern Mexico until their numbers reach a critical mass, then they're releasing thousands onto hundreds of buses that take different routes north to the U.S. It's a tactic borrowed from the cartels called "ant operations." Each bus route is like a separate ant trail to some point on the border. CBP sources say the number of illegals apprehended at the border jumped by 10,000 in November, to about 175,000. At this rate, the number for FY 2022 will top 2,000,000. And that's not counting the got-aways. Plus there's this: some sectors are noticing quite a few nationalities far removed from Latin America. Just last week, Del Rio agents intercepted illegal border-crossers from Eritrea, Lebanon, Syria, and Tajikistan. Over 50 nationalities represented in October alone. It looks like the whole world is coming to Texas and the U.S.
