Update! After nearly two years and much weeping and gnashing of teeth, the situation with Jeff Jones was resolved recently. He has made good on his past debt, and we have shaken hands and moved on. This chapter is now closed, and I wish Jeff the best. 🤩

After many years of friendship, good times, and a solid working relationship where we turned to him as our go-to "Mr. Fix It" handyman, we are sad to report that we can no longer trust or recommend contractor Jeffery Jones in good conscience to perform labor of any kind for our friends and family. He has proven to be untrustworthy, not a man of his word and a disappointment as a human being. It pains me to post this publicly, since his outward persona as a Burner and party guy is so much fun and seems genuine. But I do not want anyone else to be taken in by this person, whose excuses are too numerous to mention and who now states that he is "retired," while owing us money and products we have already paid for. 🤬

The beloved Artown Little Book pocket-sized event calendar is coming back this year for the first time since 2019! Here at Artown, we are so excited to get this out to everybody once it comes off the presses. Volunteers are urgently needed to help us get 50,000 English language copies and 5,000 Spanish language copies out to everyone in Washoe County and beyond! Got some time to spare in early June? if so, call Oliver or Clyde at the Artown offices M-F 8:30AM-5PM at 775.322.1538 and let us know your avails!

Can't physically assist us but you own a retail business or know of someone who does who loves Artown? Hook us up! We'd love to get copies out to your location!
