For the best health benefits, try to maintain a level greater than 50 ng/mL.

Vitamin D recommended intake is at 400–800 IU/day or 10–20 micrograms. However, some studies suggest that a higher daily intake of 1,000–4,000 IU (25–100 micrograms) is needed to maintain optimal blood levels.

A good mattress is crucial in achieving good back health. Finding the right mattress that will give you a great night’s sleep involves getting both the right support as well as the right comfort level. There are many factors that affect back pain and how you sleep, but a good mattress is proven to make a positive difference – and if you have the wrong mattress for you (or your once-suitable mattress is now old and tired) – you may be aggravating your pain.

Y'all. I woke up this morning, opened my podcast app and found Sick Girl Speaks & Friends!!! I can't remember the last time I was so excited about something. Doing this podcast has meant so much to me. Not only because I get to say what's on my mind/heart with no filter but because it has given me the chance to have life-changing conversations with my amazing friends who are doing this with me. I have always known I had the best friends in the world but getting to talk to them in this way has just made me love and appreciate them even more.

I have already learned so much about myself, my friends and my faulty thoughts in these first episodes, I can only imagine how this will continue to grow and evolve. Thank you to each one of you for your support--this was a podcast born here, on this page, because of many of you and your encouragement and ideas. I have been working holidays, nights and weekends to get this up and running and I was thinking of you the whole time. I sincerely hope you like it and hope it's as meaningful for you to listen to as it was for us to make.

I don't know why am I am so lucky to have all of you supporting me, to have the Friends I have or to have the amazing love of my boyFriend but I am trying not to question it too much. I am still working on Project "Letting The Love In" but this podcast is one way I hope I show my love too.

If you want to know how you can help, please tell everyone you know about this podcast. Email, social media, phone trees, flyers on the front door, yell it from the mountain...whatever you can do to help spread the word is so appreciated. This is my personal passion project so it's not funded by my job etc and all costs come out of my wallet. Podcasts cost a lot of money each month to make and share so the more listeners we have, the more likely we are to be able to sustain over time.

If you want to know what to say on your social media, here is a sample:

Sick Girl Speaks & Friends is a lighthearted podcast about love, career and chronic conditions. This podcast just dropped but I already love it and I think you will too! Listen on any podcast platform or go to sickgirlspeaks.com. This podcast is powered by Patreon.

page: Sick Girl Speaks and Friends

Thanks again to all of you. Please do let me know what you think of the podcast. As with all new projects, there is certainly room for improvement so please share what you like, what you think could be better and any ideas you have for future topics!
Thank you, FRIENDS!
