After a much needed summer break I am back in the studio. Here’s what I have planned for the next season of Bobeats:

☕️ A video about how to build a flexible pedalboard for synths

☕️ Taking a look at the Labyrinth from Moog

☕️ Torso S-4 sampler review

☕️ Trying to get my hands on a TEO-5 (many have been asking for a review)

☕️ Perhaps a follow-up review on the Pulsar 23 – still worth buying in 2024? Just an idea, let me know

☕️ At long last that studio tour

I have many more ideas and it all depends on time, energy and what I feel like doing. And your suggestions are most welcome!

And we will of course end the year with Synth Gifts and Best of 2024…

And of course checking out some totally new gear that I can’t talk about yet…

Spent a lot of time this summer repairing things around the house. Hard at work fixing up the fence that was in bad shape. It is nice doing some physical work as opposed to spending much of my time in-doors in front of the computer editing or bent over a synth. But I am also looking forward to getting back to making videos again.

Planning content for autumn and got some fun things in store for you all. How about a Torso S-4 review? Maybe doing something with Moog Labyrinth? Working on a massive sampler comparison too! And a studio tour. You let me know if there are other vids you want to see!

But first we got 4 more Summer of Synths videos to go! How about some life changing synth tips? A dawless setup that inspired me, and Push 3 videos!

Summer + Synths? What could be better? Starting next Monday (July 8th) we kick off this years Summer of Synths. 8 weeks. 8 special guests.

We will get to experience everything from DIY synths to Push 3 tutorials to circuit bending to live performing with dawless setups.

If you are new to Summer of Synths it is a show I host every summer. I invite other youtubers to make a video for my channel that airs while I am on vacation. I provide a budget, help with ideas and script and also make appearances in the video where its appropriate.

Soma sent over their new Pulsar 23 Screw. Its a lower cost version of the Pulsar. I bought the original when it came out and its been one of my fav machines ever since.

The big change is the pins (see image). Maybe the pins are a little harder to grip (the old ones have grooves) but otherwise it seems pretty much identical in look and sound. Still built like a tank with high zombie killing potential 😅

This is the Lofi 12 XT! No stereo sampling like on Digitakt 2 but it does have polyphonic sample playback and a quite cool lofi sound

The studio is slowly coming together! it has been a ton of work and I am finally moving the last pieces to the new space.

(For those who havn’t kept up here’s what is going on: in 2020 i rented a space and built a pro studio. In 2023 we bought our first house and started renovating it and building a studio on the property. In January 2024 I started moving into the new space)
