This morning we woke up to 90% of our target being reached and we could not be more thankful to everyone who has already believed in and supported us. Buuuuuut we still have a little way to go before we reach our first target and only 4 days left!

As we reach the the end of out 1st week of our boosted campaign and step into week 2 as a thank you for all of the wonderful people who have already donated to, shared or supported out boosted campaign in anyway we thought we'd release another cheeky little peek into the behind the scenes of the original test series.

Producer & Cast - Sarah Dawes

Hey! I’m Sarah - FUN FACTS about me: I’ll choose Winter over Summer, mountains over beaches and sunrise over sunset.

As a kid I got into trouble for stealing my Mum’s camcorder to make movies with my friends. Filming things like hanging upside down from the trees and cartwheeling down the garden - you know, really Oscar worthy stuff. Over time this adapted into writing short films and mini sketches until one day I had the idea for an interactive series. I wasn’t quite sure of the logistics of the show or even the story but that’s where the magic of collaboration comes in. Shadow Peak has evolved into what it is today with teamwork and just making s**t happen. I’m so proud of our team and what we’ve accomplished so far and I can’t wait to see what we can do with the next 12 episodes!

I’m also a die hard Harry Potter fan and proud Slytherin. I used to re-watch the first movie over and over again until I knew lines word for word. I really wanted to be Hermione Granger.

P.S - Peanut Butter is life

MEET THE TEAM!! 🎉🎊🥳
Director - Jordan Rivers

FUN FACT: Jordan is made up of 60% Blue V and 40% hoping that it works. Earning his stripes as the only samoan emo at a public school, Jordan went on to pursue performing arts in all avenues.

Starting on stage at the Porirua little theatre, then moving to interactive pieces with Bard Productions and Circa, and naturally moving to screen in series like Wellington Paranormal and Shortland Street.

Along with having the privilege of working with such directors as Taika Waititi, Jonathan King and Peter Jackson, Jordan has also worked with several sheep, a small Lizard named Gary and a baby dressed as a dorito in a commercial nobody will ever see.

Jordans passion for storytelling also followed him behind camera as, in more recent years and especially during Lockdowns, he has found creative solace in writing and directing.

Co-producer - Melanie Swears

Hi everyone!
My name is Melanie Swears and I am a the co-producer and production manager of Shadow Peak.
I am so so excited to be back on board and we are working so hard to make this time bigger and better than ever before.
I am so passionate about making the space for what is truly the most collaborative and wonderful series I have ever worked on and that absolutely includes all of you and who you make these characters through your votes and choices.
In our original test series I was also the 1st AD, AC, make up artist, art department, script supervisor, potentially on camera but im not telling where or when and probably many other things but let's be honest I can't entirely remember.
This time round we are pushing to get far more talented people at their crafts than I on board, but we want to make sure we can create the best space for them possible as well.
If you want this show to reach its full potential we need you to help us out however you can whether it be donating or sharing about our boosted campaign, anything and everything helps.
I hope you're as excited as I am and I can't wait to see you all again soon in Shadow Peak ❤
