Founded in 2007, the Jeffersoniad grew out of a shared effort to bring a new media perspective to Virginia's political environment, and has maintained a presence ever since. "The Jeffersoniad" was an early 19th century series of critical columns printed in Boston's Columbian Sentinel during the presidency of Thomas Jefferson. Today, the Jeffersoniad Policy Review is a shared effort to bring serious policy and reform-minded recommendations to Virginia government.
