It’s 9:30
There’s the ding of the clock from Grandma Bloom.
I’m folding pool towels. Or beach towels. Or towels.
It’s Saturday. I’m blurry from a day of living many lives.
I bought my Papa Earl a towel when we moved here.
A house with a pool.
This year I hit his half way mark.
I look at the years thinking I need more than 1/2 more.
A golden dog that marks our years in six years tap shoes around me.
Her tumbleweeds of fur creating the landscape of the corners of my life.
This is home.
With ghosts. With hope. With love.
This is home.

I forgot to charge my phone last night. It was sitting next to the charger. Unplugged. Proximity to charger does not charge the phone, who knew? (If this sounds familar give this post a 👍.)
And it got me to thinking how easy it is to do the same thing as humans.
When do you recharge?
(If this question made you feel big feelings please know that's a sign that you need to create space to recharge.)
Setting the time aside to recharge is important but it's challenging to do when you don't even know what you would do to recharge. Like scrambling to find the right charging cord 5 minutes before you need to leave for a flight.
