Reported by the Alberta River Forecasting Centre (https://rivers.alberta.ca/)

***

A low-pressure system is expected to continue to bring widespread rainfall to areas of Northern Alberta until Saturday, July 27.

Due to this precipitation, a ๐—™๐—น๐—ผ๐—ผ๐—ฑ ๐—ช๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ฐ๐—ต has been issued for Freeman River near Fort Assiniboine.

Water level rises of an additional 1 m are possible. Minor flooding at the Freeman River campground is possible.

Trees and debris in the river have the potential to pile up, especially at culverts and river bends, which can lead to higher increases in river levels.
