Making of "Trust" - Behind the Scenes
Here's a few moments from the making of "Trust". I wanted to highlight the keys/strings played by Josh, which really brought the song to an emotional height. Months later we filmed the music video with my creative buddy Anas Tolba - a critically acclaimed filmmaker in his own right. The video production and message was powered by Naseeha youth helpline - so very grateful to work with them on this project.

"Potato Eggs or Coffee" Song
Last weekend I heard a story about how a girl who was going thru hardship and sought advice from her mother. I wrote this songlet that tells that story.
Her mother told her about a Potato, Eggs, and Coffee Beans - each when surrounded by boiling water reacted differently.
A potato, that was initially strong, became soft and weak.
The Egg, initially soft on the inside, became hardened, still keeping it's think weak shell.
The Coffee beans on the other hand, didnt change much...but it turned the boiling water into a pleasant smelling and tasty drink enjoyed by millions of people.
She then asked her daughter, "I know you're going thru hardship...but which will you then be? A Potato, Egg, or Coffee?"
It was a cool story, and one I hope to share with my daughter when she's older.
