Free Fishing Day!

Free Fishing and Park Entry Day in Nebraska is May 18. Enjoy a Saturday of fishing or state park activities without the need to purchase a fishing or park entry permit for the day.

Free Fishing and Park Entry Day, held annually in Nebraska on the Saturday preceding Memorial Day weekend, means anyone can explore outdoor opportunities at any Nebraska state park, state recreation area or state historical park. Anglers must observe all fishing regulations. Camping, lodging and all other user fees still apply at state park areas. Entrance fees for museums at state historical parks and the entrance fee at the Schramm Education Center remain in effect.

It was so amazing to see over 3,000 volunteers show up, ready to roll up their sleeves and help people clean up after losing everything in a tornado. The fact that so many people gave up sporting events, concerts, shopping, etc on a Saturday is truly a blessing from God.
Efforts are on going until everything is rebuilt. -Minden, Iowa will also need help as well.
-If you want to volunteer tomorrow, please come The Relevent Church in Elkhorn at 7:30 AM and you will assigned a location to work.
-Still need: Helping Hands, Trucks, Trailers, shovels, trash bags, totes, tarps.
-We do NOT need anymore bottled water at this time.
-If you plan to come, please try to carry pool.
-Help reduce traffic, if you are not in the area to help clean up please stay away (blocking streets just to take pictures is NOT at all helpful).

Your donations are greatly appreciated and helps to buy cleaning supplies, rebuilding supplies and food for volunteers.

The next race we would like to highlight is for US Congress. We recommend the current delegation. All three have been fighting and getting results for issues like Agriculture, Infrastructure, Safety, fighting to secure the border and making sure the farm bill will be good for everyone.
