Shoutout to for surprising me on a family date to our local botanical garden for Mother’s Day. Moms were admission free (finally our hard work paid off some where) lol but I truly enjoyed myself.

Here’s what happened

Minding my own business doing what I currently don’t do best…(take photos of myself). When all of the sudden, Quinnie runs out to photo bomb my moment.

A *RUMBLEEEEEEE* sounds comes out of nowhere…

Quinnie’s little runs becomes a sprint from the sound. As she’s climbing my leg, I ask her “what’s wrong?” She points in the distance.

And there it was…
The big lawn mower

So what do I do? I reassure her that lawn mower won’t hurt her because I will kick the motor right off of it before it could even think about reaching her! That dang big lawn mower!

These two participated in a fun run for their school fundraiser and had sooo much fun. I am honestly impressed how much they ran! Lol their little feet were movin! 🏃🏾‍♂️🏃🏾‍♀️💨

Installed my first set of boho twists this weekend! Yall really stayed with me during the process (if you seen the stories)
I literally told myself and my daughter I couldn’t do boho anything. But I never tried until now. Now the back of my hair..different story. 😂😩

Look..I trusted the process but the process didn’t trust me.

Marriage is telling your wife about your squadron Christmas party the night before.

Motherhood is having to attend to your kids school Christmas parties (the same day) because they’ve asked you all month to go!

But who managed to successfully get ready and feed her family within the hour and a half between those two events?

This gal.

Who managed to get off work and go to his jobs Christmas party 30 mins later?

My man!

At the end of the day, everyone was happy and just enjoyed seeing eachother!

What started off as a butterfly ended up as a flower. So we shall call it flowerby, the butterfly flower inspired creative braid.

Since this was random and my first attempt, I was prepared for the outcome so accessorizing wasn’t my priority. But when I do try this again, best believe it will be.
