3๏ธโฃ Turn your stories into reels. You can do back through your stories archive and create an educational reel about something you shared in there.
Less than 4% of your audience regularly watches your stories so don't be afraid of being repetitive - reels expand your reach far beyond your audience.

Doing cardio when overweight is a TORTURE!
Your lungs, your joints your muscles will be screaming! The stress you are casing to your body is working against you!
Cardio (like running, HIIT etc.) is great. But not when you carry a lot of extra weight.
If you are battling a stubborn weight and in your 40s and above, focus on weight and resistance training, and get a hold of your dire first.
Once you start melting it, than add cardio accordingly.

I gained 25lbs over the past 3 years.
Getting into perimenopause late 2022 made things harder
I couldn't make the scale move, no matter what I tried
Eating less and exercising more while battling hormones going wild made things worse
In June I made a switch and 10lbs โฌ๏ธ almost with an ease ๐ณ
Along the way I've learnt what works and what doesn't.
I'm sharing this with you so that you can focus on what really matters
1. STOP COUNTING CALORIES
Not all calories are created equal. And while tha calories from a ๐ฉ are almost as much as the calories from a piece of salmon, they have a very different nutritional value and impact on your health and weight
2 START TRACKING NUTRITIENTS
And more specific - fibre, magnesium, Omega 3s and Vit.D
Start eating foods that will give you 100% of the RDI (recommended daily intake)
3. START INTERMITTENT FASTING
It's not about restricting yourself from food. It's about restricting yourself from eating often.
It's not for everyone, but if you tried everything and nothing works - you are doing yourself a bad favor if you don't try IF.
4. START LIFTING WEIGHTS
As Lifelong runner I'll tell you that - cardio will give you endurance, stamina, better mood.
But...Cardio will not sculpt your body.
Start WEIGHT LIFTING if you want to lose fat!
It took me a long time to get the results as I didn't know what would work.
Now that I know I'm stunned that not enough people in the health and fitness space talk about.

1๏ธโฃ Eating fat makes you fat. In fact, fat (in moderation and the right kind) is necessary for health. Excess weight is more a matter of taking in more calories than you expend
2๏ธโฃ Carbs make you fat. In fact, not all carbohydrates are created equal. A chocolate cupcake and a banana both contain carbs, but one also has necessary nutrients and healthy fiber (hint: itโs the yellow one)
3๏ธโฃ If youโre skinny, youโre healthy. In fact, people store fat differently, and mere thinness is not an accurate measure of health. Even if youโre naturally slim, you still need to exercise and look after yourself.
